...It's been quite a busy time on the Botany Terraces thanks to all of our new visitors. Although, to hear what my uncle tells me about what it's been like for his team of kitchen chemists, we certainly haven't been the busiest ones on the station. I'm so proud of him and all of the work that he did to ensure that the Cosmic Kitchen recipes were calibrated to be nutritionally viable for all our new friends, no matter their Remnant of origin. ...Now he's been busier than ever, because the Bridge Crew has asked him to run a molecular study on Enchanted Forest cuisine for some reason. Ay, well, I'm sure he'll do a radiant job.

New Quests: Beebot's Secret
15 new requisitions for the kitchen chemists - strapple production at 22.37% - oh me oh my, a new transmission from Lil Blendy!! It says: "Thanks for the help, everyone!!" That's so sweet. I'll be sure to share it with Marisol.
Jeezz!! Life on the Terraces has been even bzz-bzz-busier than usual, ever since the kitchen chemists opened their doors to our Earth visitors a few months ago. It might be nice to rest my wings for just a moment...
Maybe some of you would want to come visit me in the garden later today and hear a Secret?? It's a special day for me, after all!!
New Quests: Xenia's Secret
The amendments to the Solarium's trading charters seem to have gone well over the past few months! The official report from the Commander says that we've been "mutually enriching each other's cultural and historical understanding" and I certainly agree... You feel very enriched, don't you, Casey? Still, I can't help but wish that we could have participated in your fun Earth celebrations... First, there were all of those radiant "Fraycation" broadcasts, and then that exciting "Prism Party" competition! Do you think that anyone from the Solarium will ever be granted access to go down to Earth? Hmm... Maybe not...
But I guess that if we can't participate in your Updates, maybe this month, we could do something fun up here! Couldn't we? For example, some of us aboard the station could start revealing our Solarium Secrets! What do you think, my bitty gizmo?
Weh... Badaada... bedeeebeee... *urp*!
That's right! We do want to share all the depths of our processing cores with these nice intergalactic travelers!
So I guess that means... Those of you who have been Devoted friends with me for a while... You should come back to the Automated Nursery after the lights dim for a Unique Quest. But you didn't hear that from me... Mweeheehee!
New Items: September User Submissions!!
I wanna thank y'all for taking such good care of Club for her birthday last week. She's been gorging on sweets and bun-related treats since then. I had to take matters into my own hands and locked her up in the attic in the Backstage Broker. Don't worry, she loves escape rooms. Besides, she knows her way around a haunted artifact or seven. It'll help her work off all that birthday cake.
Having reached the midpoint of September, we've got another batch of brand new and beautiful User Clothing Submissions. I think I spy another gift or two for Club in there, so she'll be excited to see those once she finally gets free.
Site Contest: September 2019
Ahoy, everybody! Today we're settin' sail with the September Site Contest, which has a theme o' Fun Times with Friends!
First up, we're tryin' out a new Book Design Contest! The way it works is that ya describe yer idea for a book that honors some o' yer favorite Tattered World friendships. No need to draw it yerself or anythin' - just come up with some neat thoughts and a book description! The winner's even gonna get their book added to the Campus Supplies shop over in Hope.
We've also got a Craft Contest, where ya make a real-world object that reminds ya of yer Tattered World buddies in some way! Makin' trinkets for yer crew is a time-honored pirate tradition, after all.
Ya got until September 29th at 12:00 (noon) CHT to get the most Cheers on yer entries! The winner o' each category is gonna receive 100 Gems, plus a special Achievement and some unique items! Ooh, and be sure to read the Rules! Don't want any well-meanin' entries capsizing 'cause of a technicality.
Gosh, I sure can't wait to see all yer entries!
