Hey everyone, Admin Diana here with a small notice about the site. Amazon is having some DNS issues at the moment that are causing page load issues for a wide number of sites hosted on their servers. I don't have any more details than that except that Amazon is working to resolve the problem. Just wanted to let you know that the site itself is OK, and any problems you run into with images or pages breaking should hopefully be fixed soon!
Update Oct 23, 9AM CHT: Unfortunately the issue is still persisting despite Amazon having resolved the problem on their end. If this is a DNS validation problem (where the attack on Amazon was used to convince sites to direct to the wrong domain) it may take 24-48 hours for the DNS to clear, just because that is the speed at which DNS records update. We are still investigating why this is occurring and what we can do about it. Thank you for your patience!
Happy Hope Anniversary
Attention, students and foreign friends alike! As many of you already know, today marks the third Site Anniversary since we began open beta! We've all grown so much since those early days, finding new friends and even foes beyond the Tatters. Our anniversary this year falls on a date when I will be attending the Enchanted Forest's Illuminary Gala, so I have pre-recorded this message to make sure I am not a moment late! I do hope you're all also in attendance with us at the Event, as it sounds like it may be a once-in-a-lifetime chance for those of us with human lifespans, hoho.
