Okay little buns, are you all stayin' in your specifically sorted pots of dye colors? Aww, Orange, you silly bun, if you climb into the blue pots you'll turn into a muddy-brown plot bunny! I dunno what that would even do - do plot bunnies come in brown? Wait, wait, don't crawl in there, please!! Andre asked me t'keep the dyes from spillin'!!! I'm a 'sponsible Kith now!!
Phew! Good thing I've hired out extra help this month t' make sure the Prim Party is a real parrrrrtaaaayyyy!!!!
Code Update: 8/30/21
Just a small code update coming through for you today!
We've added a checkbox to the Settings pages which will allow users to disable incoming Friend requests if they so choose. These requests are simply 'hidden' from view and have no notifications, so if you do change your mind and want to check the Friend requests that have been sent to you, unchecking the box in your Settings will show you all Friend requests you've received.
We've also changed the Untangle button on the Snarl section of the Kith Profile page so that it now grays out instead of disappearing every time you untangle.
We're currently working on an update to the Snarl section of the Kith Profile page that will change the display in a way that shows when a Snarl has been completely Untangled. This will also come with a notification about your completion, and let you know you can release the Snarl or keep them bound to your Kith, whichever you prefer.
Please note that we do currently keep a record of Snarls even after they have been released, so if you release a Snarl, that data will be saved for possible future updates to the site, like a history log of all Snarls that a Kith has untangled. Unfortunately this was implemented some time after Snarls were first introduced, so anyone who released a Snarl in the early days may not have kept that data. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.
As always, if you notice any problems or technical issues on the site, please let us know in the Technical Support Forum and we'll work on addressing it as soon as possible.
Thank you all again for helping to make Tattered World the best it can be!
Site Contest Winners: August 2021
Is the Prism Party almost over? Please tell me it’s almost over. Those pirates have been getting wound up about party time all month. All month! SOME OF US HAVE PROJECTS TO WORK ON! And don’t even get me STARTED on some of YOUR entries...
Thankfully, the winners of this month's Site Contest were excellently chosen by cheers: Rainbow flag Scalyx by Cremuex in the Art category, and Spectrum Consort's and Siren's Robes by Rayne in the Clothing Recolor category. It was a difficult judgment call in the Art category, distracted as I was with woefully obtuse entries.
Prism Party Update!
Club? Club, where are you?! Man, I didn't think that seeing Club's old mask plastered on paper plates everywhere was going to make me feel so...

A few updates are coming to the site today, though most of them are improvements behind the scenes to speed up certain features and remove broken pages. In particular, we've added new optimizations to the inventory pages that should allow them to process data more efficiently, even on slower connections.
Also, the My Ranking tab on the Event page has been fixed and will now show your points again! The Prism Party Event is still going strong, so get your plot bunnies together and paint the town purple before it ends on August 31st!
We've also updated the Rules and Guidelines page to include a new language rule specifying English as the primary language to be used across the site. This means that forum posts, profile descriptions, messages, trades, custom submissions, and the like should primarily use English to communicate your intent. Occasional use of common words and phrases in other languages are perfectly fine, so long as the intent of your message is still obvious. For example, all the fun French phrases used with the Lucky Venture crew were a delight to read and are more than welcome! This new rule is just being put in place because our small staff of moderators need to be able to understand all content put on the site, for the purposes of moderation and keeping Tattered World safe for everyone.
If you find a bug, please report any issues to the Technical Support Forum so that we can work on getting a fix as soon as possible.
