Oh! Heya everyone! I guess you're looking for Shady too, huh?
It's not like him to miss a custom submission update, but to be honest, I haven't been able to find him for days! I've looked everywhere - the dumpster, the Backstage Broker, the nurse's office... I even went back to the Shadow Stage and looked for him at the bottom of the lake. Do you know how hard it is to swim down there with little nubby arms like mine? And all I got for my effort was a sopping wet puddle and a stained towel.
Now it's not that I'm all that worried about him, he can take care of himself. But his axe is missing from the kitchen table and we've only got three wobbly legs holding it up now. What on earth would he need his axe for? Is there some kinda weapon trend everyone's in on that I missed the memo about?!
Hm? Snarls? What's a Snarls? I dunno what you're talking about..
I just hope Shady isn't out doing anything stupid. Well, the least I can do for him is get the store updated.
Code Update: 3/17/2020
Edit 2: As of 8:30AM CHT, the moves have been fixed. Unfortunately, the bug was caused due to the new scaling calculation. This means Snarls using Attack and Defend will probably produce some weird, imbalanced numbers until we can fix the underlying issue. Edit: As of 12:50AM CHT, the moves seem to have a bug that I cannot fully resolve. I have modified the Attack and Defend so that they use slightly incorrect version of the new calculations and that seems to have helped some, but it's nearly 1AM where I live and I need to put this down for the night. I will fix the battle system as soon as I can. Thanks for your patience.
Midnight update: Unfortunately, the servers decided to have a temper tantrum, and rebooting them pushed some in-progress code updates through. So you're getting these a bit earlier than planned! Please note that you may need to log out, clear your cache, and log back in again if you get any "page not found" errors. I had already pre-written the news for this update, so check it out below:
Here come a number of code updates to the battle system! This is just round one, tackling the easier changes suggested in the Feedback thread. More changes will continue to happen in time, since some updates take longer to figure out than others.

We are working to implement many more suggestions made in the Feedback thread while slowly rolling out more features of the battle system. Our next update should include items and multiple Snarls in a single battle! We'll see you there when we reach the next Event Checkpoint. As usual, if you find any problems, please report them in the Technical Support Forum.

So, you've been doing a decent job at fighting your way through the Snarls. Impressive. Good work. I applaud your efforts. Woo.
Now that we've dispensed with the tiresome required praise, we can discuss more important matters. Namely, that you're still only a fraction of the way there, have sustained massive property damage, and still have a very high likelihood of dying at the first sign of any actual threat.
Why are you looking at me like that? I'm being helpful.
March Update: A Face to the Voice
Ohh, the Tatters are so terribly inflamed... I've never seen them like this! And every route to familiar Remnants has been swallowed up - it's as though every possible passage just keeps twisting back on itself, forming one single road...
I'm getting so tired... hff... hff... It feels as though I've been running for days... But I won't be frightened! If this is the game that mysterious figure wants to play - so be it! I'll keep running towards them... I'll run as fast as I can!

Shh, shhh, little ones, it's all right... I'm so sorry that something has you all so miserable and afraid! I only wish that you could explain what upset you so much when you were traveling through the Tatters... or that anyone could tell me what's causing this terrible, sickening feeling. Could it truly be caused by that strange "vibration" that the Ulusives of the Solarium described to me? So many of these little Kith are trembling...
Can I offer you all some new toys? A book to read? I know it seems scary, but I promise you'll find that the Remnant of Hope is a marvelous place to be. There's so much joy awaiting you all! And in the meantime, I'm right here. Just... talk to me. Please, let me help... I want so badly to help...
