November Update: Map Exploration!

Our big update of the month is here, and it's on the Explore pages!

Each and every map has been updated with new code that makes it more interactive, and will now work on both desktop and mobile! Before this update, our map exploration only worked on desktop, and it wasn't always clear where you needed to click to explore the map. Now there are handy arrow buttons to show you where the map can scroll, and each NPC has a pointed marker that is always visible so you know where to find them! Clicking on the NPC's marker will highlight their shop and give you a brief description of what to expect from that shop. Please note that it may take up to an hour for these changes to appear on your account, and make sure your browsers are up to date in order to utilize this new feature!

After many long and tedious months of work, our moderator team has finished updating every clothing item with tags! A huge thanks to Dread in particular for her constant, dedicated effort to getting old items tagged and organized onto a new Tags reference page.

I'm also very excited to share the news that our team is making great progress on some additional feature updates that will arrive in December and January... I can't tell you much more than that yet, but I think you'll all like what's coming!

Until then, please report any bugs or problems in the Technical Support Forum so we can take a look and fix it as soon as possible.

We've sure been sailin' through rough seas for the last few months 'round here, haven't we? Hey, thanks for everything ya did to save us! I never did imagine that all o' my divin' and explorin' might lead us here... It's a complicated feelin'. On one hand, I got more answers than I anticipated, but on the other...

All o' us here in the Reef, we've been doing a lot o' thinkin' about our time trapped in Specter's hauntin' dream... the choices we never made, the lives we never lived... and everything we learned from it. And so all o' us figured, well, since we can't do anything about Specter now, we oughta at least try to use this new knowledge about the Golden Age - and about ourselves.

So all six of us are gonna think about what an ideal world really means, by hostin' the November Site Contest together!

No, no, it is not that I doubt you, my dear skeletal comrade, it is just - a ghostly disembodied voice spiriting away good souls to a sick and fanciful fake fairytale life for all others to behold like some kind of perverse play... Mawnite! My friend, please! Such language is not befitting a heroic tongue! Very well, I will refrain from speaking of that maskless monstrous puppeteer in fear of upsetting our sea-soaked friends. You are right about one thing, at least; his very name still strikes such a rage into my heart, even now! I can only image how raw and tender those who have most recently suffered must feel.
