Tutorial TutorialNew Items: May User Submissions!
Ugh, it doesn't matter how long I have lived in Hope, this time of year is always too damn muggy. It makes my scars itch and my head ache, blech. You kiddos don't even want to know about the 'sticky' bun situation we got going at home. Jr has been parked in front of a fan 24/7. I guess humidity wasn't really a problem in space, huh?

It's update time! Though I do have some beta battle system updates, I also have a few non-battle updates this time too. Please note that it may take up to an hour for these changes to appear on your account.
The Strategy limit has been put in place, and the wipe will only erase any Strategies you have over the limit of 4. For those of you with less than 4 Strategies, this means your Kith will be left exactly the same. If you want to replace a Strategy, now you can do so from the Inventory (so long as you are not already in a battle) or from your Items tab if you bring the Strategy with you to battle.
If you specifically want a Kith to be fully wiped clean of all its Strategies for some reason, please feel free to send me a message and I will do so manually.
Ending battles got a little bit easier with the addition of an End All Battles button on the Continue Battles page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to easily end all ongoing battles for all of your Kith.
On your Inventory pages and the Items tab in battle, you'll see that our item pop-up has gotten an upgrade! You can now see visual cues for each selection in the dropdown menu, such as which item to select from a Selection dropdown, and which Strategy to replace if learning a new Strategy after reaching the limit. Items in battle will now display the same information as in your Inventory, including a description of the item. If the item is a usable item, it will now show the thumbnail of your Active Kith so it's clear which Kith will be using the item with you. Hurrah! We hope this makes navigating the different dropdown menus a bit easier for everyone.
The Quest pop-up has also gotten an update. Any Quests that award Reputation will now display the reward after completion. From a staff perspective, we're extra excited for this update, as it will mean we can create future Quests that reward Reputation for NPCs other than the one giving the Quest! There's lots of interesting possibilities there we want to explore.
When searching for items, the dropdown menu will now round all items up to the nearest 100 Shards instead of rounding down to the nearest 100 Shards. This means items worth <100 Shards will no longer display as "0 Shards", and will instead show "100 Shards".
Finally, an update to the public Gallery page will now sort by most recently added, just like your personal Gallery inventory. (We hope to someday add manual sorting in the future, but that update is likely far away.)
If you encounter any issues, please report them in the Technical Support Forum. As always, thank you all for helping to make Tattered World the best it can be!
Site Contest: May 2020
Good afternoon, citizens of the Solarium, this is your Commander speaking. I've taken the liberty, upon request, of also broadcasting this daily transmission to all of our friends throughout the other Remnants as well. I am pleased to announce that I have been given the opportunity to host the May Site Contest, with a theme of the Stars of Spring.
This theme provides us with a notable opportunity to showcase not only our own scientific view of the stars, but also provides an opportunity to honor our new friends in the recently-discovered Golden Colosseum Remnant, who have traditionally viewed the stars as a metaphor for… for Kith.
New Premium Items: Fractal Set!
Ah, someone's at the hatch! Doubtless that must be tailoring droid serial code 47AG.22. I commend you for your promptness! Please, do come in and make yourself at- Oh!
Ms... ah... Ms. del Bosque? This is an unexpected pleasure. I do hope that all is well upon the Botany Terraces; unfortunately, I regret to inform you that I have a preexisting meeting that has already been scheduled for this particular time slot. I apologize for the technical errors that have must resulted in this double-booking. Please, rest assured that I shall log an error report, and if you re-file your meeting request form, I have no doubt that this can be rescheduled in a prompt and efficient manner.
New Items: April Recolors!
Nmmmgh! Ghhff! Curse my tiny nubby legs! I should have left a whole week earlier if I wanted to make it on time for the tailoring release. Ugh, well, at least I've made it to the Golden Colosseum before the month is over. I'm sure as you can all see by this giant heavy sack I'm dragging, I've got quite the recolor update for you this month!
