Posted on May 11, 2020This theme provides us with a notable opportunity to showcase not only our own scientific view of the stars, but also provides an opportunity to honor our new friends in the recently-discovered Golden Colosseum Remnant, who have traditionally viewed the stars as a metaphor for… for Kith.
I know that many of us aboard the station have been understandably cautious about the Kith, given the tragic alien attack that occurred four years ago. That being said, new strategic intelligence has recently come to light. The Bridge Crew and I have meticulously investigated this cutting-edge research, and have come to an important conclusion.
Our scientists now believe that there is a very real possibility that a different group of aliens, known as "Snarls", may have been the ones who were truly responsible for the attack on our station. In light of this new information, the Solarium shall no longer classify all Kith as "hostile enemy combatants", but instead as potential Allies.
Civilians who feel that Allying with a Kith might be right for them are now encouraged to explore the possibility further. That being said, current security protocols still stipulate that Kith are not be permitted in the areas of the station that require high clearance levels, and those who work in such areas are still not permitted to form Kith Alliances. Though these policy changes represent a new chapter for the Solarium, I have the utmost confidence that they will have positive results.

There is also an Avatar Category available for citizens sharing their seasonally appropriate attire, be they frontline fighters on the battlefield or studious stargazers. Site Contest entries are open starting today, and they shall end on May 24th at 12:00 (noon) CHT. The winner of each category shall be transmitted 100 Gems, as well as a special In the Spotlight Achievement and some unique items, the Spotlight Showcase and Spotlight T-Shirt.
In accordance with standard Site Contest protocols, winners shall be chosen based on the number of Cheers that their entry receives. Be sure to read the Rules before you enter.
Finally, I am told that there has been some trepidation about the current state of affairs back on Earth. I am pleased to report that our Cross-Remnant Defense Coalition has had resounding success rates in defending Hope, and the Bridge Crew and I are continuing to send aid, and to keep a close eye on any potential threats to the station. For the moment, there is no cause for concern.
