Tutorial TutorialCode Update: 10/27/20
We've got a small update for you today that includes one much-requested feature in the Dressing Room: a remove all button! Click the x at the very top of your Equipped Items list to immediately remove all of the items on the list.
We've also updated all pages that use HTML to now also offer BBCode functionality, so that the site can be consistent with BBCode in place across all pages! HTML functionality will remain in place in some areas, such as the User Shop description, so that anyone who set up their descriptions with HTML won't return to a broken page. However, HTML will not be supported for future bugs and development, so switching to BBCode is a good idea to pursue when you have the time to change!
Finally, we have added an option in the Settings for users to delete their accounts instead of requiring administrators to do it upon request. Of course, we hope that you consider leaving your account in tact so that you can leave and return to the site later, but now you do have this option available at any time.
As usual, if you notice any new bugs or issues due to this update, please report it in the Technical Support Forum so that we can fix it as soon as possible!

Anniversary Finale
It's time to bring time back again, so the shop timers have now been returned to the usual 1-minute cooldown. The Year 4 Uniform has also been permanently retired from Campus Supplies, though you can buy the Year 5 Uniform set anytime in the next year of exciting updates!
I'd like to end this celebration of our anniversary on a high note, so give the site a quick refresh to see our brand new look by Squidbunting! She's done a truly marvelous job at updating our site artwork for Hope in between working on future artwork for the battle system.

Happy Hope Anniversary
Can you believe it's been four years already? Four whole years since we first opened up registration to everyone. We've come so far with the site's features, and we've got lots more to come in the next year!
To celebrate, we'll be turning off the shop timers until Friday the 23rd at 12:00PM (noon) CHT! Those of you who need to hoard Gummy Bats for Halloweave will have four days to amass an entire bat swarm!
We'll also be changing the default clothing given to new accounts from the Year 4 Uniform to the new Year 5 Uniform from Campus Supplies!
You can buy the new Year 5 Uniform Blazer, Year 5 Uniform Slacks, Year 5 Uniform Skirt, and Year 5 Uniform Miniskirt for yourself at Campus Supplies anytime over the next year, though if you'd like an extra copy of the Year 4 Uniform Blazer, Year 4 Uniform Slacks, Year 4 Uniform Skirt, and Year 4 Uniform Miniskirt, you had best buy them soon! The Year 4 Uniform will be permanently retiring when our anniversary celebration ends on Friday the 23rd.
Ah, but that's not all. We've worked on some minor improvements to Quests as well for this anniversary, to embrace the changes you've all helped our characters develop over the years. Take a look under the spoiler tag here for a list of what's different! Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for these changes to appear on your account.

Site Contest Winners: October 2020
Wahaha! You see, Mawnite? With the aid of the Travelers in the October Site Contest, we had nothing to fear from all of these ominous "Halloweave" haunts that have been filling our Stage with merriment and excitement! Why, with the constant parade of new cast members at our side, it is no wonder that this dreaded Seeba villain has not dared to attack! Surely even the Narrator himself would be handily defeated once more if he dared to show his nefarious head, or lack thereof!
But now we have some special performances to applaud! Let us celebrate the winners of this month's Site Contest... The Hallowed Lady by Leslie in the Avatar category, and Undead Phowl by Firebirb in the Kith Design category!
Code Update: 10/19/20
Hey everyone, are you excited for our site anniversary tomorrow? Tattered World has been open to everyone for four years now, wow!
Today's code update is another feature for cultivating content: a Muted Words list! You can now mute certain words in your Settings, which will hide any posts from view under a spoiler tag. You will see in the small gray bar of the hidden post which words were muted, and can choose to click to view a hidden post on an individual basis. The way this filter works is by checking only for alphanumeric characters, so it should be able to catch words even when they're within BBCode tags or have punctuation around them.
We've also fixed a few bugs with the blocked images feature. Kitchen tools and Tailoring previews should be blocked now! The weird image sizes on our mobile layout should also be back to normal.
Saving an Outfit will now move any clothing items in that outfit to your Locker, if you don't have that clothing item saved in your Locker already. This is a safeguard to make sure you can't lose your pants to a Quest or something by accident!
Previewing and then buying an item from User Shops should correctly refresh the shop page instead of redirecting you to the list of User Shops.
