Game Update: Hoof It!

Dance, Seeba, Dance!

Mwahahaha! *cough* Whoops, sorry, that’s more my brother’s style than mine. Anyway! Hoof It now has difficulty levels added to it, as well as the How To button. I’m trying out a new input method, so PLEASE report any problems to the Technical Support thread! If this works for everyone, it will mean that we can cut the games back down to one version, instead of needing a separate mobile version. If not, please stick with Easy Mode in the meantime, and I’ll swap this version out for the two separate versions.

So, ramping up the fun means that harder difficulties have more dance moves to remember! Don’t try these at home - no, I mean it, Dad! Hey! These dances are for Seeba only!! Quit it!

What’s this Chosen name field in my Settings? It’s an optional name-swap for interacting with Characters on the site! At long last, I can finally go by “Dianabanana” instead of “Diana” without letting any of you know about it. Many thanks to stopboorider for the excellent suggestion!

We’ve also added the Tool & Recipe warnings into the Inventory, per a suggestion by Jasmine. Now you can check in one click whether or not you’ve already equipped a Tool or learned a Recipe. Thanks, Jasmine!

Remember to please report any problems to the Technical Support Forum. Your browser version is very helpful information if we have to troubleshoot a problem. I'd also like to ask, as a favor, if you could try to replicate a problem so that I know whether it was a strange one-time little bug or whether it is reoccurring for multiple users; this also helps me to sleuth my way to the source of the problem. The more details, the better!

Fashionably Dated

Greetings, all my dear students! I've been so excited these last few days, getting the campus ready for your next rush of new students; this is always my favorite time of the year, you know. It always inspires me to get into all storage rooms and clean, clean, clean! In fact I managed to get so far back into the largest of our store rooms I found quite the blast from the past! You see, back in my day here at the University, the uniforms were a bit different. We had all this lovely tartan to wear! The color changed out every year as new students would join the school, but that caused us to have a rather large overstock. We changed the design before we could go back to the old colors, so now I have a whole room just full of skirts and ties from the old days. Ah, I remember seeing my wife strutting about the school in her uniform, the gleam in her eye as she chased down tardy students as hall monitor. *content sigh*

Of course I'd hate to see these go to waste, so I showed Andre down at Tailored Fashions to see what he thought, and he was quite enamored as well! Said it was just the thing he needed to pair with the new Messenger Bags he was getting ready for all the incoming students. So along with his wonderful bags, he will be offering the old design we had for the Tartan Skirt to anyone interested. And if skirts are not to your fancy then he will also have the Tartan Tie which may pique your interest. Hopefully he is able to show everyone the proper way to tie them so we don't have a bunch of Loose Tartan Tie or the ever-rebellious look of the Untied Tartan Tie on our campus. Of course, that might serve me right after all the trouble I gave my Headmaster in my youth… Ahem! That’s a story for another day.

Heroes of Hope!

At long last, we’ve finished working out the multiple-choice feature for items. Now we can hand out the Premium Kith stages, including the Heroic Medallion that was unlocked as a stretch goal on Kickstarter! Backers should receive their Heroic Medallion sometime tonight. When that’s done, the Heroic Medallion and Tattered Shred will be available in the Headmaster’s Office for 1,000 Gems each.

You may have noticed the announcements going out on social media: Open Beta is scheduled for 10/20! Tell your friends!

We’ve also made a bunch of minor improvements through some reorganization and a few bug fixes! Remember to please report any problems to the Technical Support Forum. Toying with Your Hearts

Hey folks! Guess what?! Go on, guess!
That's right! The greatly anticipated expansion to the Arcade still isn't done. Whoops! Look, construction takes, like, way longer then I thought. And man, vending machines are just as heavy as they look. But my dear friends this big old rain cloud has a silver- no, GOLD lining! I've decided that since my stock room is jam packed (to the point that I've been keeping the over flow in my room…) it’s time to release some of this stuff to the masses. I mean, guys, I literally have a stack of boxes that can reach my ceiling next to my bed. The smell of crayons alone has been invading my dreams in the weirdest ways.

So Piper, you may be asking yourself, how many new toys do you have for us today? Four? Eight?
HA! Ha I say! Try thirty one on for size. That's right. You heard me. A big old three-one! I'm nearly DOUBLING my current available stock! I'll give you all a moment to bask in awe and admiration, go on, soak it all in. It's fantastic, I know, but tell me anyway.

I'm going to break down the new toys into sets so the list is a little easier to digest. To start I'm going to bring out these fantastic new sticker sets. I got sticker sheets made of none other than our own amazing Kith! Each species gets their own sheet, so we’ve got Blepper Stickers, Bumblebunee Stickers, Ferrec Stickers, Flipperfin Stickers, Gemwing Stickers, Lumence Stickers, Pluff Stickers, and the ever tardy Scalyx Stickers. If you’ve got a favorite type of Kith, I’ve got a sticker for you! Huh? Iris? Well she is less a type of Kith and more a person who I'd have to pay royalties to for the use of her likeness soooo... That is eight new items right there - and we are just getting started.

Next up is a bunch of new crayon sets! Was the basic box just too basic? Was the deluxe set too intimidatingly large? Well do I have the new colorful wax sticks for you! Check it: we got Metallic Crayons, Glitter Crayons, Pastel Crayons, Grayscale Crayons, Glow in the Dark Crayons and Skin Tone Crayons now, which is another six new toys for your playtime.In the same vein as the crayons, I've got a bunch of new marker sets too! Pastel Marker Set, Grayscale Marker Set, Glow in the Dark Marker Set and Skin Tone Marker Set. These are a nice in-between from the original set and the deluxe; just the right number of markers, if you ask me. That means these four new sets brings our running total up to eighteen.

And you might have already guessed where I am going with this, but I've also got a bunch of new watercolor sets! Pastel Watercolors, Grayscale Watercolors, Glow in the Dark Watercolors and Skin Tone Watercolors will be joining the original two watercolors and bringing us up to twenty two new toys.

Lastly for our creative toys, I have the brand-new color pencil sets! There are Colored Pencils, Pastel Colored Pencils, Grayscale Colored Pencils, Glow in the Dark Colored Pencils and Skin Tone Colored Pencils for all your coloring needs. Sorry, pencil sharper not included. Dad was worried about giving out sharp things to some of the Kith.

My last set is a bit of a grab bag, but each and every toy is just as fun as the last. The Deputy Badge, White Puzzle, Miniature Bed, and Party Hat round out the rest of the list to reach my whopping grand total of thirty one! Phew! What a list! That was almost as tiring as it was to stock all these into the Arcade! Wow, I can finally see out of the window in my room again.
