Do you all hear that buzzing? No, sadly it isn't springtime bees awake from their hibernation quite yet. It's my hair clippers awake from their long sleep instead! I've been hearing some outcry for shorter hairstyles, and while long hair can be so satisfying to play with, you really can't beat just how soft short hair is under your fingers.
So, starting today, you'll find the Salon stocked with five new styles! We've got the basic Buzz Cut for those of you who barely want some hair. Then we've got the Crew Cut for those who still want a little more hair to play with and style. From there we use a longer guard on the clippers to get the High and Tight for a neat but still attractive look. After that, I have the fabulous Tall Fade for those students who have naturally curly hair they want to show off. And speaking of natural, we’ll work with what we've got for the Balding look. Experience and wisdom can be attractive in it's own right! And make no mistake, we can always try some creative layering with any style to make something altogether new and unique.

New Kith Quotes!
Hey, remember when I first mentioned Kith Quotes? Whoops, that was a while ago. Writing hundreds of lines of dialog can take a long time! Who knew?
The good news is, that feature WILL be rolling out over the next 24 hours! You'll see it appear slowly, page by page, as we upload them into the system. Your Active Kith will speak to you as you browse the site, using a speech bubble similar to the Spotlight seen on our logged out homepage! Please report any issues to the Technical Support Forum if you notice anything unusual.
A couple other minor code updates: we've increased the Marketplace Lot time from 7 days to 30 days. I hope that helps encourage more sales! I'm sorry for any inconvenience with the shorter time period we started with.
We're also adding a little bit of code to our Quests which will prevent users who have not yet unlocked the Enchanted Forest from receiving Quests about the Enchanted Forest. Again, that should happen slowly over the next 24 hours as we fix the Quests and double-check our work, so please be patient!

Do Me A Favor
Evening, students! I've been out and about lately and I hear that some of our favorite Characters are asking for some more help! We have 11 new Quests spread out over Hope and the Enchanted Forest! Some you can find right away, but others will only be asked of close friends. You can hear Dizzy, Lenta, Princess Celariel, Othidar, Robin, Piper, Head Master Nicholas, Kei, and Lycus all making new requests... many with some very tasty rewards!
These are all Hourly Quests, so keep in mind that it make take a couple hours for these to show up for your account, and they each have a small percentage chance of showing up every hour.
Code Update: 3/14/17
We've got a few minor updates for you today!
I've heard users asking about some more clarity in items, so we've changed the item pop-up display in shops. Now when you're viewing an item for sale in the shop, you can see the item type next to the Shard amount! You'll also see a quantity indicated in the purchase prompt (right above the buttons) if you already own 1 or more of that item.
In the Kitchen, Recipes now count how many times you have completed each individual Recipe. This will lead to some very fun Cooking Achievements coming soon!
