Good morning, sweet peas! What unusually bright weather we're having for the autumn season. Aren't you hot in those costumes? They look better suited to a chilling temperature. That "Shadow Stage" everyone's talking about must be deathly cold. And I've been hearing some terrible things about that place! People are getting straight up murdered!
I think you should all come back here to warm up and stay safe! My Garden has been loving the extra heat, though I do worry about how this will effect next year's sprouts... Anyway, I heard through the grapevine that everyone in Hope is sharing a secret with their Devoted confidants! You know I'm always happy to share what I know with you, right, darlings? New Unique Quest: Jay's Secret
Look at all these fancy costumes! Y'all are going all out this year, I see. Where are you getting all these new clothes? Andre's not the horror movie type, and Piper said he was busy working on her Spooktacular Seeba apparel...
Well, it's not really my business. Nicholas mentioned that Iris was running off somewhere with you spooky students, and that I ought to give a secret to my most Devoted friends. I'm not really much for secrets, but I can play hooky if the Headmaster ordered me to, right?

October Event: Shadow Stage
O-okay, I've finished my research on these Shadow Stage Pamphlets. They don't seem dangerous themselves.. so far I've only ever been able to get them to react the same way as common paper would. But there is definitely some kind of power contained with them, like a, uh, an electrical current, almost? It's what kept these papers together when they went through the Tattered Weave, re-binding any of the threads that got loose before it was unwoven... I think.
Whatever this power source is, I can only take this to mean that someone really is actively reaching out to us in communication. I've gone ahead and passed out the ones you've collected for me, Iris. Now if we can just figure out what is going on... Are you sure I shouldn't go with you? I know someone has to stay behind to monitor this energy reading on the Pamphlet, just in case you find yourselves in trouble and need a quick escape, but..
New Unique Quest: Piper's Secret
Hi guys! Are you already getting dressed up for Halloweave this year? I can't wait to show you what Spooktacular Seeba and I have come up with, but I'm not done getting everything ready yet.
Iris told me that I should share some kind of a secret, but... I know my Dad reads the News.... so if you want to learn any of my secrets, you'll have to check for a Unique Quest after proving you're Devoted to me!
Is everyone excited to see what this Shadow Stage Pamphlet thing does? I've got my fingers crossed that someone's opening a new movie theater with a horror movie theme! Y'know, 'cause it'd make sense to market that kind of thing with a cool ghost story campaign. My brother Lycus is holed up in his Lab testing the things because Iris thinks they might be dangerous. Psh! What kind of scary story would it be without a little danger, right?
