Tutorial TutorialSite Contest Winners: January 2019
We received so many wonderful entries this month – as the ancient saying goes, there’s no place like home! You all did a wonderful job of representing our town. Nic and I are proud to announce that the winners of this month's Site Contest are Whereverwinged by Haiz in the Writing category and Home Sweet Hope by Hyperion in the Gallery category. Congratulations to both of you! For earning the most Cheers on your entry, you'll receive the exclusive In the Spotlight Achievement as well as the Spotlight T-Shirt and Spotlight Showcase.
In order to keep everything nice and tidy, the winning threads will be moved to the Archived Contest Winners Forum, while all other entries will be moved to the Past Contest Entries Forum-
Code Update: 1/22/19
A few more code updates for everyone! Not all of these are Event-related, so please take a look at the full list below. As always, if you find any new problems, please report them in the Technical Support Forum so we can fix them as soon as possible! Please note that since I am away from home this week, I haven't thoroughly tested each of these individual updates, so think of them as alpha versions rather than beta versions.
1. The "Keep my Reputation" button has been removed from Daily Quests. We're going to try a new system where you will lose 1 point of reputation only if you don't login that day, thus negating the need to do Daily Quests that you don't want to. Again, this is a very tentative new update, so there may be some bugs as we roll it out, but I think this will make Questing feel more rewarding in the long run!
2. User Profile and Kith Profile pages have been switched to BBCode! Your HTML is still there in your Settings, just so you don't lose any URLs or something, but you can now update that to BBCode to have more freedom with the pages!
3. Event Achievements have been partially repaired, so you should be seeing some Achievements for your participation later this week!
4. The bug that disallowed switching between tabs on the Event page should be fixed now.
Thank you all again for helping to make Tattered Weave the best it can be!
Code Update: 1/21/19
Okay, sorry again for the bumpy, buggy ride, everyone! Event Quests should be working again now.
For anyone who has a problem clicking the Complete button on a Quest, please decline that Quest and the next Quest you get should be fixed!
We are still working on some of the other bugs, such as the "Keep my Reputation" button declining Event Daily Quests as well as non-Event ones.
Event Update: RiGBy!
We’ve d-done it!! With everybody’s help f-finding the glitches by playing Glitchsweeper, Piper and I have managed to fix the software on this m-mysterious device to decipher enough of the message from this, um, “Transmission Bot Designation Rigby” to understand what’s going on… kind of. It s-sounds like they’re in a Remnant called the “Solarium” and they suffered a ton of c-casualties and injuries somehow...
N-now I just need to r-respond to their distress call by broadcasting a transmission along the s-specified frequency. Hopefully whoever they are, they’ll still be around to receive our message… This h-has to work…
Okay… H-here we go…!
Hello. This is the Remnant of Hope, contacting the Remnant of… Solarium? We have r-received your distress signal. We have access to many resources and would like to p… to provide aid in any way that we can. I am, um, Hope citizen designation Lycus Artois. Repeat, we would like to provide aid. Do you c-copy?

Um, t-that will probably t-take a long time to travel to wherever they-
New Items: User Submissions!
I've heard you kiddos have been all abuzz about some S.O.S. signal nonsense. I hope you just remember what happened last time y'all all accepted an invitation through the Tatters. Last thing I want is Hope getting overrun by any replicate cyborg body-snatcher jerks. I got a good thing going here and wouldn't take to kindly to someone messing that up for me.
Speaking of a good thing, y'all been busy huh? My almost-vacation from shelving over the winter break was short lived, it seems, and the site's fantastic creators have all come back in full swing. Hope you kiddos can take some time out of your fancy new questing endeavors to check out these new items. You wouldn't forget old Shady and his artist pals, would ya?
