Tutorial TutorialNew Items: June Recolors!
La la la~
Up and down, then under and around and that's how you weave a hat!
Oh, hey everyone! It's the last day of the month and you know what that means! Re-color update!
New Recipes: HOTDOGS!!!
Okay, the coals are all heated up, time to throw the meat down on the grill. We'll start simple with the plain old Grilled Hotdog Recipe, which really couldn't be any easier. It's meat, heat, bun, eat. It's also good for more fussy eaters too, since I know some folks can't stand any condiments on their hotdogs. But remember, if you're serving this up to young kids or Kith, try to cut the hot dog in half to help prevent any choking risks.
If you've got a more discerning palate then I'd recommend you go all out with the Deluxe Hotdog Recipe. It's got crunch, tang, ; everything a good hotdog needs. This is how I take my hotdogs most days; extra relish if you please.
Of course there are lots of other ways you can make your hotdog up and – Plip... Plip. Plip. Plip! Plipliplop! Oh... oh no. Is that rain!? NO! MY COOK OUT! IT'S A DOWNPOUR! Tatters be damned, I thought the forecast was supposed to be clear today!
Site Contest Winners: June 2018
Digging through all your heaps of garbage has been great fun, but it’s time to declare the winners of the trash collection contest! Everyone gaze upon the unusual beauty of Sunken Dollie by Gryphling in the Avatar category and The Beauty of Hoarding by Himochi in the Gallery category. Congratulations! The two of you will each receive the exclusive In the Spotlight Achievement as well as the Spotlight T-Shirt and Spotlight Showcase!
The winners’ threads will by moved to the Archived Contest Winners Forum, while other entries will be moved to the new Past Contest Entries Forum. Those cabbages and Trash King of Trash entries came so close to winning… Ah, well. Maybe next time your junk will float to the top!
Next month won’t be nearly so interesting as the hidden treasures of the trash heap we’ve seen today, but it will be something special! The only category will be the Art category, and no one in particular will be hosting - so any character you tag may respond to your entries! Good luck!
Code Update: 6/24/18
With every major update comes the chance that we’ll run into some major bugs. We’ve fixed what we could this weekend, explained in detail below:
- Potion Panic’s “Return to TW” button should now correctly link back to the site.
- Counting Cards should display the correct number of Kith ability rewards instead of “0”.
- Potion Panic had a bug that could “stick” two candies together, messing up the game board. We’ve added a couple lines of code that should automatically delete any candy that is overlapping itself after 1 second. However, this does not solve the bug that comes from super-fast input, such as from a drawing tablet, so for now we must simply advise you to disuse any inputs that freeze the game like that.
Please note that you may need to clear your cache and refresh the page to see these changes! Thank you all again for making Tattered Weave the best it can be!
June Event: Potion Panic!
TA-DAH!! That’s right, my friends, it’s time for an event at the Arcade!
For our June Event, we’ve got a brand new game inspired by the Shadow Stage: come play Potion Panic, the spookiest magical brewing game there is! Just kidding, it’s not spooky at all. Match three or more candies together to pop them into your cauldron with a spell that fills up a potion to crunch even more candies! You start with just one minute on the clock, but every touch of magic can buy you a little more time. And your Kith will earn ability points for every 2 minutes you play!
Speaking of Kith, I’ve got a surprise for you on aaaaall the old games to match this new one! From now on, games will reward the lowest Kith ability out of Speed, Power, and Guard, up to 400 points. That’s right, no more random spikes of one ability over the others! At least, uh, not from the games. Hurray!
