Another code update so soon? Look, we can't control when inspiration strikes. ;P
Today we've added some backend Quest improvements that should "package" your Quest loss with your Quest assignment - meaning that each user should have a minute or less in between when they finish a Quest and when they get assigned a Quest. (This applies to Hourly & Daily Quests only.) The time on the hour in which this happens will still be different for some users, but it should be relatively consistent now - so if you regularly get new Hourly Quests assigned at the :11 minute mark, you should now always be losing any Completed/Declined Hourly Quests and gaining new Hourly Quests at the :11 minute mark. Hooray!
We've also "packaged" the Daily Quest reset with the Daily Reputation Loss, so there shouldn't be too long of a gap in between losing a point of Reputation with each Character and then being able to complete your Daily Quests. For those of you with the Completely Devoted Extra Shelf, the Shelf should unlock at 98 points of Reputation (out of 100), which means you can complete an extra Hourly Quest or two to ensure that you don't lose the Extra Shelf at any point in time. If this is not working the way I just described, please let me know in the Technical Support Forum!

I'm sorry that Ms. Iris couldn't make it. Do you think she got lost on her way up to the cottage? I hope Grandma didn’t find her, she'll get growled at for sure. I don't understand why Grandma is so worried about Ms. Iris! She’s so fluffy and soft, like a big walking cotton candy! How can she possibly be bad?
AH WAIT! No! Mr. Hero, don’t touch that! Phew, um, here, you should stand over here! That way if the spell backfires, you don't end up with peppermint blood or anything! Hee hee, or maybe you'd get licorice.

Code Update: 10/16/17
Good morning, everyone! It's time for another round of code updates and bug fixes. We've got some minor updates for you here that should be very helpful! As always, if you notice a problem, please report it in the Technical Support Forum. Thank you!
The "extra slots" bug in the Dressing Room has been fixed (yet again). Hopefully for good this time!
In Tailoring, the "No Color" text can now be set by admin to the correct default color. Yay! It will take us some time to go through all the Patterns and make this change, so please be patient as this is added to Tailoring.
Achievements are finally working again for admin, so we'll be getting those uploaded soon for Marcus, The Hero, and The Witch. Please be patient as this may take some time to upload and implement.
I've created a checkbox in your Settings in case you want to disable Trades and/or Messages. NPCs will be disabling Trades and Messages shortly, so please use the @Tag to notify them of any discussion in the Forums! The way you can tag an NPC is by using this format: [ @Name [npc] ].
Speaking of the @Tag button, we've added a space to the end of the @Tag BBCode button so it should now automatically tag correctly when being used, instead of needing an extra space to be added afterward.
And finally, some of the Character store dialog was from an outdated file, so you may notice minor changes have been made to fix some errors.

October Event: Witch Hunt
Beware, everyone, this path is littered with traps set by the Wolf. Though Mawnite bought us some time by running ahead to lead Wolf away, I don't think that will be enough to pry a snap-trap off anyone's leg! Ah, fair Iris, do you see the candy-coated cottage ahead? We're nearly there now. I knew Wolf wouldn't be able to resist giving chase to Mawnite! She'd be on us by now if the plan hadn't worked! Ha ha! I guess what they say about dogs and bones is true for wolves as well!
Now I just have to hope the rest of our plan goes as smoothly. Witch isn't like Wolf, she does not hunt or prowl about for prey. She's loyal to the Narrator, yes, but not out of any real affection. I... don't think she knows any better? Despite all her power and magic, she is not truly a creature of malice, merely... mischief. I'd certainly rather deal with her than The Wolf any day.
Ah, wait! Look! There, above the door!
Damn! The Narrator has the doorway being watched! We'll have to be fast - once Wolf hears we're here, she'll drop everything to come protect Witch. It won't matter that we're not here to be aggressive, simply being here at all will be taken as a threat.
