I'm glad everyone's okay! Or rather, I hope so -- we don't know where the others got to after splitting up, but I can't imagine the rest of the castle was as dangerous as the Narrator's hideout.
And... I hope you're okay, too, Wolf.... It's frustrating and horrible to be used, and nobody can blame you for what happened. Besides, we've seen the Hero die before; we know he can come back.
That said, uh....... like, I know none of us trust him, but the Narrator seemed very insistent we'd bring down the remnant without him telling a story. Do we need to start up a play posthaste, or can we just start making a bunch of clothes?
Speaking of clothes -- on the materials note, I just wanna mention that I got Polyester from the Dollmaker -- a level 9 material. So it seems like his daily might be a way to get some materials you wouldn't normally have access to! :O

Suggestions?
Here's my idea:
Keep the general aesthetic of the place. Everyone seems to revel in the Halloween theme.

[@The Scribe] Thank you so much for your timely intervention! I think the general theme you have going here is a good one, but from what I've seen the stories have been leaning a little heavily on the tragic end of things. Sad stories certainly have their place, but if that's all there is it can get a little... heavy. Is there a way to lighten things up and tell tales of happier times? Families reunited, curses broken, memories regained, that sort of thing. Allow some laughter to brighten things up a bit.
Also, while I know having a set story helps, maybe allow for some ad-libbing and improvisation. When people have been playing a part for a long time they sometimes have more insight into how their character is likely to react and what they're likely to say. Absolute control and an insistence on sticking solely to the script is one of the areas that led to Narrator's downfall. Stories- and people- need to be allowed a chance to grow... and to learn from their mistakes.

[@The Scribe] Slightly off topic, but with all the excitement over for now, are you going to participate in NaNoWriMo?

I don't trust it...
I'm... fine. Though I'd rather both the Narrator and the Hero stayed gone...
Witch, get away from there! Stop poking the corpse!

yes! we did it! everyone is safe - at least for now!!!
see, [@The Wolf] ! We got together and wrote our own happy ending!!
I don't trust it...

[@The Wolf] It's okay, my friend, we know you didn't do this to the Hero of your own free will. We know you two had your... issues, but hopefully he will be back soon enough.
I agree that we need to be vigilant against the Narrator's return. He is definitely the vengeful type.

[@Iris] [@Nicholas] [@The Wolf] Are you all right?? That battle- were any of you hurt?
Gauze
Iris, we're so glad you're okay! Are you...are you all right, after that?
(Where are Witch and Dollmaker?? Are they okay? Can we check on them?)

[@The Wolf] Are you alright? How's your grandson?

Is he gonna come back yet? Scribe? How about now?
We're fine! (Fine!)
Everyone split up to search the castle except us, we had to stay behind. Scribe was supposed to stay with us in the Center Stage but she ran off and left us with the Stagehands - I mean, with Veilious - who ran off after her and then we heard Hero go THUD down below! (THUD!)

......something feels wrong. Where is the narrator going.
We need a head count of everyone we know that the narrator would most likely posses, who is not already here. We need to make sure they’re safe. [@The Witch], [@The Dollmaker], where are you two right now? Are both you and your kith safe?

We all seem to have survived, save Hero. I was searching the dungeons when the finale went live. Or dead, depending on your perspective.

Uhh, how much power do you think I have? I'm still new to this... I can't make any promises.
Hmm... I mean, it's worth a draft at least. I've asked my Kith to keep a mask on the Curtains, just in case the Narrator didn't leave.
There's still like, a whole archive of books that I haven't read though that might have clues in them about the Narrator's power and the Narrative itself. Plus, I have this one story I've kind of been itching to write... Well, no, like, four... or eleven if we're counting drafts...
I thought it would give us more breathing room to perform... Like, I really didn't think it'd mess up your notifications or whatever...
Huh. Noted.
Psh, like, everyone knows the real fun of stories is making up all the different endings. And beginnings. And side stories. And alterations...
I don't even know what that is?

[@The Scribe] Hey um...Scribe...I uh....I completely agree with you that it would be much for interesting for The Hero to remember so uh...suggestion to...bring him back? Please? I don't know if you might be able to bring back his memories from the past, which would....be really interesting if so but...even if not I feel that The Hero is really important to any story and I feel that I helped push him to storm the castle a bit and I really care for him because I understand what it is to be a knight a bit and love someone dearly and want to protect them at all costs and now I'm rambling so I'll stop

[@The Scribe] Thank you for standing up to the Narrator and freeing Iris. Perhaps a combination of voluntary performances and some of the things we have suggested could keep the Curtain from Falling? Oh, and, uh, when the Hero revives, could you give him his memories back somehow?

[@The Scribe] That...was AMAZING. I get the feeling we at Hope have much to learn from you, if you would be willing to help us prepare whatever next chapter we wind up writing.
There's much we still don't know about the Stage, and the Narrator. I think we had better learn all we can while we have the chance... He's DEFINITELY going to be back at some point.
I...had a question for you about [@The Hero]. He seems to see the scripts you write as reality. Do you think... could you consider writing a script that helps him find his memories?

I suppose we were right then, that this remnant was a trap. I kind of suspected as much. I don't suppose you know if it's been set before, and if so what happened to the poor kith and allies caught up in it?

Uh. Did you change the stories so drastically, [@The Scribe] , that there's more to read on each page of this thread-story?
It feels like the pages contain twice as much information now.
I thought it would give us more breathing room to perform... Like, I really didn't think it'd mess up your notifications or whatever...
