It's the last day of the month so you guys know what that means! It's time for your monthly re-color update! Now, I hate to sound like a broken record, but I didn't get as much done this month as I would have liked. I spent a good week laid up in bed unable to do anything beyond whimpering sadly and trying to eat popsicles to keep the swelling in my face down. But I wanted to make sure I had something for everyone so I buckled down once I was able and tried to work out a theme for this month's update.
Now, I haven't seen these items commonly used, but they were brought to my attention because pure black doesn't always show up the best on some of our darker skin tones and I felt that was an important error to correct. I do think that some of the new colors could be layered in some interesting and novel ways and I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
Starting today you'll now be ale to get Black Gaunt Skin, Black It's a Mystery, Black Ball-jointed Doll, and Black Whiskers Face Paint in 35 total colors. These include the 12 base skin tones for a more natural shadowed look on the Gaunt Skin. All of these save the Whiskers Face Paint are the darkest version of these colors, guaranteeing they should still show up on the basic version of that skin tone as well as help them still look like they go down into the skin. The Whiskers however are the usual brighter version so may have some different effects when applied to matching skin tones.
I hope that even if these items are not your personal cup of tea you enjoyed today’s re-color update and would like to ask everyone now that I've been doing this for several months: what do you think about this subscription bonus? Do you like the monthly dump of re-colors? What would you rather see done? Would you rather it be more themed or do you like just seeing what comes up each month? Oo!. I love the gaunt skin and am looking forward to playing with it in more color combos!

Ooh, more recolours!!! Guess I'd better get spreadsheeting to make them all.
As for the reward stuff: I think this works well personally! What I think might be useful isn't really related to the recolours themselves though:
It'd be nice if the subscription was explained in the monthly post? Just to let newer or unaware players know about how it works. I'm not sure how common knowledge it is that the behind-the-scenes subscription bonus lets you suggest recolours. ;O; And the monthly post would make a great place to mention it I think!

Ooh I'll have to add this to my spreadsheet later!
I really like this service, and I think it works well! It's a nice guarantee at the end of the month for a little expansion, and I'm honestly really good with the lower recolors each month like it's been for the last bit- we get so much apparel it's hard to keep up, and I think 3-4 things with recolors a month is perfect.
I also agree with Mochi, if there could be a copy and pasted explanation of what this is at the end of the first post, maybe bolded to bring attention, I think that would be great.
I also was wondering about the voting that was initially proposed- I know right now it's easier to pick a few to do, but I think if there is any way to do a poll that would be really cool, as long as like, the more edity ones are limited (I'm so sorry I request these kind so often).
