Re: April Event: Springtide!
Ah-ah-CHOO! *sniff* Our Springtide Event has begun. During this time, you'll be able to "catch" the Tatterflowers in the occasional shop! As per tradition, the Elven court offers a hefty reward of 1,000 Shards and 1 Gem per Tatterflower, which you can get by using the item directly from your inventory. Or you can exchange your Tatterflowers for brand-new Springtide clothes at the Bank of Hope Exchange! To find a Tatterflower, you'll need to look through the shops! The Tatterflower image is a small repeating .gif image that will be sparkling somewhere on the artwork to catch your eye, and all you have to do to collect it is click on the image. You'll be able to find one per hour at most, so don't worry about rushing to grab them all! Tatterflowers will stay in the same shop until you find them, and will only appear in a new shop an hour later after you've found one. They can appear in any shop you have access to, and are unique per user. (So if one user finds a Tatterflower in Celariel's shop, that does not mean all the Tatterflowers for that hour are in Celariel's shop. They can be anywhere!) The Tatterflower always appears on top of the shop artwork, so it should not be blocked by anything like the NPC or speech bubble; however, if you keep the site zoomed in/out at anything besides 100% that placement may be a bit off. Is hunting for flowers not your thing? No problem! For the next two weeks, the Springtide Event page will have a Daily Quest available from Skyler (featuring updated text!) which will enable you to slowly collect all of this year’s new Springtide clothes! (Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the new Daily Quests to appear on your account.) All of last year’s clothing items have been added to the premium shop in the limited-time Pick A Part: Springtide 2024, available for 5 Gems. You can also purchase previous years' Pick A Part items for Springtide, also available for 5 Gems, as well as the Cosmos Banner Selection, available for 30,000 Shards. These will be available for purchase until the Event ends on April 29th, so snap them up while you can! We also have a Magicelium Charm returning for sale in the Headmaster's Office during Springtide! Though you only have 2 weeks to purchase this charm, you can use it anytime to ally with a Magicelium Kith, so don't worry if you haven't got space for a new Kith Alliance yet! There is one final treat for you all... To celebrate the season, during the two weeks of Springtide, the Daily Login Rewards will offer a set of clothing items: the Springtide Late Snow, Springtide Puddles, Springtide New Growth, and Springtide First Flowers! Log in for five consecutive days to get them all! Edit from Admin Diana: As an added excitement, Springtide seems to have brought some beautiful new blooms to the Enchanted Forest Map as well - take a look at the gorgeous new artwork that's been updated on the Enchanted Forest pages of the site! Please note that it may take up to an hour for all of these new changes to appear on your account, and for daily changes to take up to 24 hours to appear on your account. The event will end on April 29th at 12:00PM (noon) CHT. Be sure to gather all the Tatterflowers by then!

Also a big fan of FL! Been playing on and off for, uh, many years. Though I haven't kept the same character(s). (Tendency to wander off when I get stuck or bored of grinding and then I'd restart a couple years later.) I have 2 characters I switch between rn, both of whom are loose FL "AU" versions of OCs. My progress is rather slow still, lmao. I'd love to see any avatar cosplay you do of FL characters/NPCs! Though I will probably only be skimming posts here because I am trying to avoid spoilers for later game content and Ambitions, haha!

Despite all that wind magic flying around, seems like there’s still something sinister in the air… Best to prepare by doing some shopping! You can get patterns for the Tempest Armor set in the Throne Room and patterns for all those pants at Forest Fittings! As Pandora said, the Whirlwind Waltz Badge Bundle and Pick A Part: Whirlwind Waltz Badge will be available for purchase with Gems in the Headmaster’s Shop! Tattered World is made by a small team, and every single gem purchase goes directly towards helping to keep the site running. Even a small purchase can make a big difference to us! Thanks so much for supporting our project - we appreciate it so much. And, as Dizzy mentioned, Springtide will be upon us soon, beginning on April 15th!

Myriad, Masquerade, Macabre, Morne, Malarkey, Mythopoeic, Magnificent, Mimic, Mugwort.....
It's probably one of those. Or another equally good M word!
Friending Policy
I check profiles and forum activity before I accept Friend Requests. I'm looking to see that you're actively using the site and interacting with people and that you seem chill!
I also unfriend some people who seem inactive or just to tidy up my List when it gets unwieldy. There's usually nothing personal or mean intended.
Don't hassle me about Friending/Unfriending. I will just Block you.
Also, yeah, I guess I should mention I am a Site Writer and Artist! I draw.....a lot of things, lmao. Clothes, books, toys, food, snarls and the Scourges!
