Woe! Alas!! Sorrow!!! All of the beauties of the Prism Party and its gorgeous sparkly colors have been ruined!

It's not just the incessant noise of those earsplitting off-tune sea shanties. Now they've been knocking around all of their trash everywhere - including overboard into our beautiful pristine waters!
This is a big problem, you know! Sure, it must be nice for THEM that they can sail everywhere all the time now, without having the Everstorm contain them - or force them to treasure and reuse every single piece of trash… But over the past few years, there have been so many foods and materials and pretty little trinkets pouring in from every Remnant that nobody's respecting the ocean anymore!
Oooh, but don't worry, I know exactly what to do~ I just need to find some gallant eco-friendly champions of the ocean to swim around and pick up trash before it sinks! Isn’t that brilliant?
…What? I’M certainly not going to do that! Yuck!! How could you think that I would soil my glamorous scales by touching that stuff?! But I'm sure I can convince a bunch of the other Merfolk to do it instead!

Ooh, and you'll help, too, won't you, wonderful Hope students? Pretty, pretty please? Just think of all the good you'll be doing for the oceans and the coral and the sand and the innocent little fishies… and us breathtaking Merfolk, of course~
But look at the time - I've got to get ready! Marcus has been hinting that he has some big exciting announcement that he's been preparing, and I'm just dying to hear what he thinks is going to make such a splash… Maybe Dione has a sneak peak for me? She’d tell her best friend Tethys, wouldn’t she?

Who says we need to quit partying just because Prism Party is over? Our September update begins today: Coral Reef Carousing! There will be lots of excitement in the Reef all month, starting with our brand-new game, Trash Catch!
After a few too many swigs of grog, one full shipment of party pirates has decided to keep the music going out on the open seas! Unfortunately, they're not just tossing away their troubles and cares - they're also tossing out the trash! This has the Merfolk understandably upset, since, you know, they live there. How'd you like it if someone littered in your living room?! Thankfully, you and your Kith can help clean up after those rowdy pirates by catching their garbage in a basket that's quite lucrative.
You'll earn Shards for every piece of trash you catch, and your active Kith will earn ability points for every 100 pieces of trash you catch! The number of ability points is determined by the difficulty level (1 point for Easy, 2 for Medium, 3 for Hard.) But watch out! The pirates are just as careless with their frothy mugs of grog as they are with the rest of their belongings, and if you catch a splash of grog by accident, your basket will start to get soggy! After three splashes of grog, your game will end.
Hopefully this will help keep the Coral Reef clean and sparkling - and help pass the time until we hear about this upcoming news from Marcus…
Edit: I also have a minor code update for you! The first exclusive Snarl clothing has been uploaded, so the placeholder items should now have the correct artwork showing. Completely untangling a Snarl will also now send you a notification and will update the display on the Kith Profile page with a golden tag showing you've fully untangled that Snarl. Please note that it may take up to an hour for these changes to appear on your account. Thank you!

This isn't working for me. I tried it, and my kith can move an extremely tiny amount with the arrow keys, and the basket gets destroyed very quickly without me gathering any trash.

[P.] All games are intended to be playable on mobile - what's the other one that's not working for you?
That being said, Di, I think the mobile controls have gone wonky - it seems like you're intended to be able to move the basket by dragging on the screen, but it's unresponsive or slides too far to the left or right, whether you have mouse click enabled or not.

Did some testing, I think that's because the basket's set to follow your mouse position, so the basket gets stuck in the direction of your mouse even if you're not using it. Try clicking the setting in the game to switch Mouse Click on? That should make the basket follow your mouse only if you're clicking, so you can use the arrow keys.

Well, I think I have a new favorite game for ability score grinding. Don't worry, Tethys, we'll help you out! Though you may want to talk to the pirates about this and solve the problem instead of staying on damage reduction.

id be concerned about all that grog getting dumped into the ocean too, but i suppose half the ingredients in those things probably belong in the ocean anyway

I'm not sure what disturbs me the most... the amount of trash they are throwing over the ship...
Or the sheer amount of grog they are tossing into the sea.
Like seriously guys... you're going to get the fish drunk at this point...
