NOTHING IS BETTER THAN THE MOST SPOOKTACULAR TIME OF YEAR!
Let’s show those stuffy – um, I mean, nervous Masterpieces that imitation can be flattery, with a September-October Site Contest theme of Cross-Remnant Halloweave Costumes!
And to ensure MAXIMUM fun, I'm going to run this month's spine-tinglingly good Avatar Contest for a whole MONTH to help you guys get ready for the main event! That’s right, this contest runs from today, September 18th, through October 16th! Just so you know, though, the fact that we’re switching over to month-long Site Contests means that the next contest after this one won’t start until mid-November. Think of it as one month on, one month off! So you definitely don’t want to miss out!
What does that mean? You can put on your own personal Thespiansona from the Shadow Stage! You can beep your best boops as a robot from up in the Cosmic Solarium! You can even dress up as Piper's dweeby brother if you feel like doing a mad scientist look from Hope! University professors, undead Merfolk, Fauns, living evil apple trees - it doesn't matter as long as YOU can tie it back to your Remnant of choice! I'm not the Admins, go wild! As long as you can talk your way through, it's a TOTALLY LEGAL MANEUVER! GET CREATIVE! GET WEIRD! GET! THE! PRIZES!!!
As with all contests, whoever gets the most Cheers on their entry will receive 100 Gems (nice), as well as the In the Spotlight Achievement, the Spotlight T-Shirt, and the Spotlight Showcase - AND because I'm the coolest dude around, the special Halloweave Gem Pail I snuck out of Nic's stock! That's right, you can all applaud my generosity now!
You've got plenty of time to figure out what you want to dress up as this year, so the only moaning I want to hear is that of ghosts and ghouls! Get your butts in gear and get those costumes! Now I better go get the rest of my prep-work done, chasing in some extra spooky spiders into the Abandoned Arcade to get it ready for opening day!
