I am in disguise. I volunteer to help find her.
Headmaster Nicolas should get a disguise as well.
Maybe someone with a kith who used to be a stagehand should ask for directions.

Sneaking huh? I'm not....quietest...hmmm are any of my kith good at sneaking...Fluorite is, but he would be a fish out of water on the stage hmmm...and Alabaster used to be a stagehand, perhaps he could help Mawnite, but I have a feeling multiplying the rattling bones might not be the sneakiest way to go

Did someone say sneaking? My Cinis has no feet and thus may be a lot less likely to make noise-

Don't give me too much credit... My hands are a warrior's, not a crafter's. The tailors don't have any reason to believe I commissioned it without the Narrator's permission. What they don't know won't hurt them. I protect my pack first and foremost.
...Don't talk about that kind of stuff in the spotlight, Moon.
Pah. He doesn't smell all that fearless to me.
Don't thank me yet. We're probably all going to die.
No. I don't know where the stupid furball went. I'm only doing this because you fools are dragging me along, and somebody needs to keep you armed and armored.
I'm not sending Witch anywhere without me to keep watch.
...rrr... I'm too old for this...
What the hell's a Scalyx.

It's so good to see you again, though I'm sorry things have been going poorly all around. But thank you for the seals. Especially for including one in my favorite color too. You did think of everything.
I only hope we can think of a plan to rescue Iris.. and prevent anyone from coming to harm.

thank you for the mask!!! i'm really happy with it, it's exactly what i wanted and it's really well made although of course i expected that from you all your masks are really nice
and um. you're really cute without your mask on, by the way - er, not that you weren't cute with it on before, but i-it's nice to see your face....

[@The Wolf] Good to see you again! I know you're worried about going against the Narrator, but now that our fearless leader is here, we will definitely find a way to make this work.

[@The Wolf], are you certain that Iris has been taken? I'm concerned that we may only draw attention to her if she's still in hiding as she planned.

[@The Wolf] Thank you, Wolf. I know you're not doing this for us, but...we are glad you're here, all the same.
Did you see when Iris was taken?
...If you are worried for Witch, Hope can harbor him for the time being. He, and you, can traverse the Tatters with Castwick's help - or indeed, any of our kith.
Don't thank me yet. We're probably all going to die.

[@The Wolf] I am concerned that without an allied kith of your own, the Narrator could turn you against the Witch or the Dollmaker or anyone else he desired.
Would you consider allying yourself with a Kith of some variety?
(If you do not feel comfortable with any of the former Stage Hands, I could help you to ally with a kith from one of the other remnants. You might do well with a Scalyx, for instance)

Ah, we've neglected to tell you about our Kith, it seems. Just as the Hero has Mawnite, we have our own Kith. One type is a Scalyx.

[@The Wolf] A Scalyx is...
well, hang on. Let me go talk to the young unallied Scalyx and see if I can't find one who'd be happy to come and help you out. I'll take them in for a few hours here, teach them about the Hope stuff and send them your way.
Mochi sold me a bunch of gems earlier, so I'm very close to having enough for a foreign alliance scroll.
I'm sure if I tell all the Scalyx about you there will be a volunteer!

Ah, right, about that... There's only a seal upon the castle in the script. Anyone can visit it if they choose to. Hero simply doesn't remember that. Please don't tell him. If he goes storming in for a fight, he'll only make a mess that Scribe has to clean up.

A question now, for you and [@The Dollmaker]: How do we get into the Narrator's castle? Hero mentioned a "seal", but...?

Are there any other defenses we should know about? Is the Narrator more powerful in the castle, perhaps? Does it have traps? They're not unusual for a villain's lair, and whatever the Narrator's intentions, he's certainly fallen neatly into the role of villain for this particular story.
And... I apologize if this has already been answered, but how likely is Scribe to side with us, do you think?

I am not aware of any traps in the castle, if you mean something like the physical defenses Wolf uses profusely... The remaining Stagehands are our likeliest danger.
I am not close to Scribe personally. I don't believe anyone is, aside from the Narrator. She seems... apathetic? Not malicious, nor particularly merciful, though I think she was also uncomfortable with some of Witch's more graphic scenes. I can't predict what she'll do.
