Site Contest Rules:
These rules stand for all current running contests, but please make sure to scroll down to each category and check out their own specific rules! If you still have questions, please feel free to ask theme here.
- Contest begins on February 7th at 12:00 PM CHT and ends on February 20th at 12:00 PM CHT. This is the same time period for users to browse and cheer entries. We will announce the winners on February 21st. (This means you should not post your entries until the contest begins on the 7th!)
- Include an excerpt or tagline that is about 100 characters long. This will be your leading quote shown in the Spotlight feature!
- Entries must be posted within the appropriate category. Entries posted in the general Site Contest Forum may be disqualified.
- Entry must be your own, not taken or copied from another person.
- Please only post one entry per category at most.
- Entry must be in English. Typos and mistakes won’t disqualify you, just please don’t submit an entry in another language.
- “Joke” entries are not allowed. Please feel free to use humor, so long as it’s not mockery (like an "I hate the Mods!" shirt) or laziness (like a scribble of no shape in particular, or a blank black box).
- Entry must be "complete" when posted, meaning that you should not add to your entry after posting it initially. Minor edits, such as a typo or a small color correction are fine, but adding to the entry may disqualify your entry. You can feel free to submit an incomplete "piece" of an overall story, comic, etc. as that is not against the rules.
- No “bump” posts (made solely to push your topic to the top of the page) or “quest” posts (made solely to fulfill an Hourly Quest) are allowed.
- Please only Cheer once per person, not account. We may disqualify entries that use secondary accounts to Cheer themselves.
- Entries will be judged by number of Cheers from users. In the event of a tie, moderators will Cheer for the tied entries.
- Any failure to comply with these contest rules may result in disqualification. Failure to comply with the standard site rules will result in the appropriate warning, Forum muting, account lock, or ban.
- Winners will receive the exclusive In the Spotlight Achievement and may be included on our Spotlight feature for the logged out Homepage! Winners will also receive the Spotlight T-Shirt and Spotlight Showcase, the latter of which can be given to your Kith over and over again for additional ability points! Finally, each winner will also receive 100 Gems!
There might have been a theme this month, but it seems that Elliot threw that out the air lock... Instead, he's challenged you to hit him with your best shot, and do your worst! What kind of art could you possibly make to throw him off his game?
- Include a link to the full-size version of your art if necessary.
- Feel free to include your watermark, signature, or other recognition.
- You may include multiple pieces of art in one entry, so long as your artwork is posted within the same Forum thread.
- Please indicate at the bottom of your entry whether or not you approve permission for us to share your entry via official Tattered World social media. If you have your own social media, you can provide a link for us to share so that you get the credit you deserve. You do not have to approve permission to enter the contest. This will not be taken into account when determining the winner.

- Include a screenshot of your Avatar in your entry as well as a screen shot of your dressing room. You may place the dressing room screenshot in a spoiler tag if you wish.
You are not required to wear your entry for the full duration of the contest.
- For this month's contest, you may use the "All Site Items" toggle in the Dressing Room to wear unowned items. There is no slot limit.

I'm sorry I hope this is alright to ask, but what is the "All Site Items" toggle, and how do we use it?

[@Tnem Ga-rf Ravel]
In the wardrobe, where you select the clothing to equip there's a bar that says "MY OWNED ITEMS" - that's actually a toggle. If you click it, it swaps to "ALL SITE ITEMS" and displays all public clothing, even the ones you don't own.

[@Tnem Ga-rf Ravel] The All Site Items toggle is a toggle in the dressing room that allows you to preview and try on every avatar item on site, regardless if you own it-
![]()
Unclicked, the toggle says my owned items.
![]()
Selected, the toggle says all site items- items you do not own are grayed out, like a bunch of the dweller feet are for me.
If you use this, you can preview the items in the dressing room, but you will not be able to save the avatar to wear around site if you are still wearing any unowned items. However, you can screenshot your avatar, as well as a screenshot of what items you are wearing, in order to share and enter the contest!

[@Himochi] and [@Dread] thank you both for telling me, I guess I did know about that I just didn't know that is what it was called or that it was a toggle.

I'm a little confused about the art contest. does it have to be tatteredworld related or can it be... anything related to the theme? Is there a reason for the contest or is it just for fun? (like art for future tatteredworld use etc)
I feel like I'm missing something and I don't want to enter something that is so starkly different then what you intended.

[@ShotoNemar] Contest entries should have some connection to Tattered World, such as by depicting a Tattered World character, but it can also be a more general connection such as wanting the host character of the contest to see your artwork for some reason, or drawing the artwork in a Tattered World color scheme, stuff like that.

thank you! I think I know what I'm gonna draw~
I came up with another question. If Entries are allowed to be cheered for before another entry gets entered won't that make it unfair to later entries? or are you we allowed to cheer for more then multiple entries?

You are allowed to cheer for multiple entries, you are just not allowed to use multiple accounts to cheer. Hope that makes sense!
