My word! What an astounding opportunity - albeit an unconventional one we must discuss further amongst ourselves… But regardless! Let me be the first to say that I am certainly very eager to welcome your ship to Hope, as well as to learn more about these fascinating new Remnants that we might be able to discover and befriend. Welcome to the [b]Lucky Venture Event[/b], which will run throughout the month of May, ending on [b]May 31st at 12:00PM (noon) CHT[/b]! In this Event, for the first time ever, [b]the players will get to choose which Remnant will be the next to be unlocked on the site.[/b] You have three options to choose between: [b]the Snow Globe, Cirque Faerial, and Gallery Trappings.[/b] You'll do this by completing Event Quests! I've written a general [url=https://tatteredworld.com/forum_subcategories/21/forum_topics/9721][b]Event System Guide[/b][/url] to explain how Events work overall, but this new Event has its own specific rules too! Each of the three potential Remnants will have their own tab on the Event page, separate from a general tab for the Lucky Venture itself. Every Quest on every tab contributes 1 point towards the Lucky Venture, while the Quests on the three potential Remnant tabs only contribute 1 point each to their specific Remnant. When the Lucky Venture sets sail, the Remnant with the highest number of points will start to be drawn toward Hope! (Don’t worry, this won’t be your only chance to discover the other two.) However, the way to reach the winner is still a mystery that will take some time to discover... Similarly, completing any Event Quest aboard the Lucky Venture will contribute points toward Lucky Venture Achievements, while the Remnant-specific Achievements can only be earned by completing that Remnant's specific Hourly Quests. Each Remnant has its own checkpoints that do [u]not[/u] correlate to the other Remnant tabs. This means you might reach checkpoints at different times! Only after all three Remnants have reached the same checkpoint will the Lucky Venture's next round of Quests be available. When each Remnant reaches a checkpoint, Luc's [b]Cargo Hold'em[/b] shop will also be updated with [u]new items[/u] from the Remnant! Please note that this is done manually by the staff, so it may not happen immediately after a checkpoint is reached. You'll see the new items for sale within 24 hours! There are a total of [u]three additional checkpoints[/u] to reach in [u]each[/u] Remnant, so you'd better start Questing - these Event Quests are available immediately! Admin Diana was able to introduce a feature update that now allows us to give users all starting Event Quests as soon as the Event begins (although checkpoint Dailies will still be delivered the evening after the checkpoint is reached). Lucky!

But these Event Quests aren't the only thing to do while the Lucky Venture is in town! There are [b]two new Premium Kith [url=/npcs/11/premium-kith]available to adopt[/url], Crocoduet and Roustique[/b], as well as two new limited-time shops to explore! In the [url=/npcs/108][b]Cargo Hold'em[/b][/url], you can buy 'preview' items from the three different Remnants that you are choosing between, which will be necessary to complete the Event Quests. This shop starts out with a small selection of toys, but the more quests you complete and checkpoints you unlock, the more items will be added to the shop stock over the course of the month! Finally, in the [url=/npcs/109][b]Parlor Tricks[/b][/url], we have our new Raffle! Every day, you can purchase Raffle Tickets for 100 Shards each. At the end of the day, one lucky winner will receive the pot! The more tickets you buy, the higher your chances of winning. Angelique does take a small 20% cut to fund the Lucky Venture, but she'll make it up to you with an additional reward: a full set of [u]all eleven Remnant Dice[/u]!
