Code Update: 5/13/20
Tutorial TutorialCode Update: 5/13/20 11
It's update time! Though I do have some beta battle system updates, I also have a few non-battle updates this time too. Please note that it may take up to an hour for these changes to appear on your account.
The Strategy limit has been put in place, and the wipe will only erase any Strategies you have over the limit of 4. For those of you with less than 4 Strategies, this means your Kith will be left exactly the same. If you want to replace a Strategy, now you can do so from the Inventory (so long as you are not already in a battle) or from your Items tab if you bring the Strategy with you to battle.
If you specifically want a Kith to be fully wiped clean of all its Strategies for some reason, please feel free to send me a message and I will do so manually.
Ending battles got a little bit easier with the addition of an End All Battles button on the Continue Battles page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to easily end all ongoing battles for all of your Kith.
On your Inventory pages and the Items tab in battle, you'll see that our item pop-up has gotten an upgrade! You can now see visual cues for each selection in the dropdown menu, such as which item to select from a Selection dropdown, and which Strategy to replace if learning a new Strategy after reaching the limit. Items in battle will now display the same information as in your Inventory, including a description of the item. If the item is a usable item, it will now show the thumbnail of your Active Kith so it's clear which Kith will be using the item with you. Hurrah! We hope this makes navigating the different dropdown menus a bit easier for everyone.
The Quest pop-up has also gotten an update. Any Quests that award Reputation will now display the reward after completion. From a staff perspective, we're extra excited for this update, as it will mean we can create future Quests that reward Reputation for NPCs other than the one giving the Quest! There's lots of interesting possibilities there we want to explore.
When searching for items, the dropdown menu will now round all items up to the nearest 100 Shards instead of rounding down to the nearest 100 Shards. This means items worth <100 Shards will no longer display as "0 Shards", and will instead show "100 Shards".
Finally, an update to the public Gallery page will now sort by most recently added, just like your personal Gallery inventory. (We hope to someday add manual sorting in the future, but that update is likely far away.)
If you encounter any issues, please report them in the Technical Support Forum. As always, thank you all for helping to make Tattered World the best it can be!

Oh, the quest pop up update is cool! Some of the quests do ask for items for other NPCs, so I guess it'd make sense for rep to be awarded to them too

Oh, that's actually really helpful! I don't often check the Remnant pages, so this'll make it a lot easier to gauge progress on the fly. I'm also interested in the possibility of connected plotlines...

Just so you know, there's a page solely for reputation under the Account menu too. Still a step out of the way, but at least a little quicker overall than checking the individual remnant pages.
I agree that the addition to quest rewards is really handy too though! Great for knowing if certain event quests reward reputation or not - like how Shady's April Fools quests didn't.
