--All right, places everyone! Now! The Audience is settled and I have no idea how long we'll be able to keep Wolf from assaulting Hero! Just like we rehearsed--
(Ugh, why did I agree to start us off? I'm not a speaking role...!)
Ahem.
We join our story past tragedy's edge, where loss left our heroine in the ground, dead. A woe, a shock, a future cut too short; she leaves us all haunted by words left unsaid. We mourn her as one Funeral Chorus, united in grief for the Bride still unwed; She who was daughter, lover, mother, friend; now but a memory for tears to be shed.
Say your farewells to her beloved grave, though we all know you can't bury what haunts you. Remember forever the Monster Bride, who marries only Death, as is her due. The rest of us offer invitation to turn this ending into a scene anew, Where an epilogue becomes a prologue to those searching for their own unwritten cue.
