Posted on July 19, 2022Watering has been changed so that you only need to water once during the first half of the seed's growth, and once during the second half of the seed's growth. Within those two halves, you can water at any time, so the watering is a bit more convenient.
Wilting has been changed so that you now have two options to deal with a wilted plant: you can choose to water a wilted plant and reset the timer back to zero, or you can harvest a wilted plant to receive only the plant without any bonuses such as the fertilizer bonus, Kith ability points, Event points, etc. No more total losses! (Currently we don't have any extra bonus rewards on the Beta Seed aside from the bonus from Beta Fertilizer, so that does mean that you have no penalty for wilting a Beta Plant unless you use a Beta Fertilizer.)
We've set the Fertilizer button to be selected by default so that you are always starting on the first step of the Gardening process. If you only have one type of fertilizer in your inventory, the fertilizer will automatically be selected for you. The same goes for the plant button automatically selecting a seed if you only have one type of seed in your inventory.
Best of all, we've added an ALL button to the tool wheel so that you can now one-click to apply the tool to all available plots of dirt. Fertilize, seed, water, harvest, and reset all your plots at once!
Finally, we've put a couple hopeful fixes in place regarding the seeds granting the wrong number of plants when harvested, as well as the timers going out of sync on inactive tabs. Though these fixes worked for us on the test site, we aren't certain that they will work at scale, so please let us know in the Technical Support Forum if you notice any bugs and we'll try to get them fixed as soon as possible!
