Code Update: 2/18/19
Posted on February 18, 2019We've added a few new categories to the item types displayed in your Inventory: Kitchen (for all your Kitchen equipment), Materials (for all the standard Tailoring Materials - only those items with the word "Materials" in their name, not any of the special materials that are sometimes required), Bundles (for any bundled items that must be used to acquire their contents), and Premium (for any Premium items). Please note that it will take some time for our team to put the items into their proper categories!
The My Sales page in the Marketplace will now display lots in order of expiration date, so re-listing a lot should bump it back down to the bottom instead of leaving it up at the top of the list.
The monthly Event banner at the top of the home page can now be a link, so we'll be able to direct users to whatever's going on with a single easy click!
We've attempted to fix the password autofill error that was happening on the Settings page, but you may need to manually clear your cache to fix it. If the problem still persists after clearing your cache, please let me know in the Technical Support Forum.
Finally, we're testing a couple new solutions to the timer issues across the site. I don't want to bore you with details, but basically the server that handles every timer-based "job" was getting overloaded, so we're adding another server to help it out while we adjust the "jobs" to be more easily managed. It's very difficult to stress test on the alpha site, because we simply don't have enough users to stress the servers, so we have to quietly test things here on the beta site piece by piece in order to make sure the servers are handling their workload well. You might notice the rare blip on shop or quest timers, but if you encounter any problem twice in a row or notice an unusual or frustrating level of load time, please let me know in the Technical Support Forum! There's a lot of variables going on here that we have to juggle, so the more information we get, the more likely we are to solve the underlying problem.
Thank you all again for helping to make Tattered Weave the best it can be!
