New Items: Sea Urchin Snacks!
Posted on November 21, 2018That's it, I'm doin' somethin' about this! And it ain't just me, yer all going to help! I'm one cook in a sea of stabby little meals, and this war will take a whole crew to fight.
First off yer gonna need to gather up as many sharp little Sea Urchins as ya can. The easiest way to dispatch 'em is a quick blow with a clean Pirate Sword. Really there ain't anything easier to make a Prepared Sea Urchin. Ya can even toss 'em back straight from the sea that way to enjoy their natural briny flavor.
Once ya have that down and've learned how to stop mauling yer hands on Sea Urchins, ya can take on a more refined meal for those who might be squeamish about seein' where their meal comes from. I recommend a freshly-made Sea Urchin Roll with soft rice, crisp seaweed, and a recently-murdered Sea Urchin. This one got a nice mix of textures since I know Sea Urchins can be a bit.... soft for a lot of folks.
O'course, if yer the sort who really enjoys Sea Urchins, then I have just the thing for ya to be eatin' the plate full. (Please don't stop eatin' 'em.) The Sea Urchin Sampler is the best of both worlds in its simple preparation style, while also offering a host o' different flavors. Drag out the Cracken for this - cutting 'em one by one with the Sword takes too long! Then mix up some sauces from lemon, wasabi, and chili peppers for each little spiny devil. Mmm, and ya can make them as hot or mild as ya like by adding some extra sauces on the plate for folks to customize with.
Whatever it takes, even if ya gotta go back to older recipes with'em like the Unfortunate Soul Food or Fishy Grog, just get these blasted things out of the cove! I'm begging ya!
