New Recipes: Muffin Tin!
Posted on January 16, 2017I'm not sure about all of you, but I'm the kind of person that has to eat breakfast on the run. No time for pancakes or cereal with my busy schedule. You know what I do have time for? Muffins. Portable, complete, and with lots of variety in flavors. Muffins are practically the perfect breakfast food for me. And everyone’s been doing a whole lot more travel since Lycus found that crazy forest, so I thought I'd share my favorite recipes with you.
In the Blueberry Muffin you've got a nice, moist muffin that just about anyone would enjoy. The Apple Muffin is good for mornings when you might be worried about blueberry stains but still want a simple flavor. The Chocolate Muffin is my go-to on mornings when I need an extra kick in the pants to get going. Yes, it still counts as breakfast! Oh, hush, if you’re looking for the healthier kind I've got the Ginger Carrot Muffin, which even Piper will eat without complaint.
Speaking of Piper - I can already feel her breathing down my neck - so yes, I have cupcake recipes too. Even I’m guilty of an early morning leftover cupcake or two, but please try to limit your Frosting intake. To warm up your cupcake skills, start with some delicious Yellow Cupcakes, great for practicing your frosting skills on when there are so many around. Once you’re comfortable with that, you can move up to the more flavorful Strawberry Cupcake! Mmm… Or, if you’d rather forget the frosting altogether, there is the tangy Lemon Zest Cupcake which has its own challenges thanks to the candied lemons. And of course, for all you chocolate fiends, we have the Chocolate Cupcake that I personally like to decorate with some Heebie-Jeebies.
All of these will need a proper Muffin Tin to make, despite the name 'cup' cake. You can swing by the General Store and pick up all these recipes. But don't over feed Piper sweets. I know she is going to go begging... Same goes for your Kith.
