    Re: Personality Stat Compilation

My kith needed 3 naive points to get accomplished, fed her Mushy Peas baby food and she IMMEDIATELY hit accomplished, so looks like Mushy Peas Baby Food is a +3 to naive, if that's worth noting!

    Re: Busted Unique Quest Requirements

(I've seen this happen before -- iirc it was a case of the quest having double requirements but giving out double rewards, but I had thought at the time that it was a unique bug -- so definitely worth reporting!!)

    Re: COMMUNAL Bank Interest

Oooo.... this is a really interesting suggestion.... I think my main issue here is with Branding, I suppose. It's hard to sell it as Bank Interest when it costs you money -- seems more like "would you like to donate to a community fund" if money is going to be depleting (when u put money in savings to gain interest, you do not expect it to deplete, and if that happens sOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE BANK haha) I wouldn't put it past the TW community to do something like this for solely altruistic reasons, but I'm trying to imagine any other incentive to do this? Like, if I put 1000 shards into a donation bar that I know will deplete over time, and it's not just meant to be a donation, it has to be because I know that interest, if I manage to collect it every day, will be over 1000 shards, right? Like, assuming I'm the only player on TW, putting 1000 shards into the pot and collecting the interest every day would have to net me over 1000 shards by the time the 1000 shards depletes, or else I've just thrown away shards and collecting interest will only slightly offset the cost of that donation. Because the difference between this and the lab is that the lab provides something I can't get otherwise (the lab special item when the bar fills). In this communal fund model, I'm donating shards in order to get back a smaller amount of shards. That investment either pays off (in getting a larger number of shards over time) or it doesn't (in which case it's a donation, not an investment). Still assuming I'm the only player on TW, that means either (a) It's completely altruistic, a donation that can be slightly offset by collecting interest. It will not pay off, and the only reason someone would donate is to bump up the amount of "interest" that other players can collect, or (b) it pays off if you collect all the interest, so any player donating is a sort of investment that will pay off. In which case, it's sort of a, I'm sure there must be a word for this, a gambit that the rich players will probably forget or think it's not worth the trouble to check in and thus lose money? Sort of like when Money Back Guarantees and Rebates don't actually lose much money because companies assume that only a few people will be dedicated enough to go to the trouble of getting them. Or else it's just..... the original rich-get-richer problem with Interest, because the money doesn't actually disappear from the rich person's account. It's a way to make that rich person richer AND ALSO everyone else, which feels like, there's potentially some danger of inflating the economy? (I'm not counting other players' donations in this consideration because I can collect their donations whether I donate or not. So if donating 1000 shards will only net me 5 shards of interest, but other people have donated enough that I can collect 1005 shards of interest, I could've saved my 1000 shards and just collected 1000 free shards. In that case, donating is still solely an altruistic action). TW is a community that loves ways to give back to newbies, and it would be fun to dump a bunch of shards into the pool just so there's a solid week of Newbies getting to collect ridiculous sums of money in interest, but I'd have a little concern about.... how much of an impact that might have on the economy? Maybe it doesn't matter, we can all get 3000 shards every day for free already, but Pet Site Currency is SO easy to inflate, and putting "how much free money can Literally Everyone On The Site collect today" in the hands of the most philanthropic players is a bit of a nerve-wracking prospect. There's a like, miracle of the loaves and fishes aspect here, where I put in money and it multiplies tenfold as everyone combined is able to pull out more money than I put in, and that miracle intensifies the more players there are on the site. Donating is fun, but part of the fun of donating is seeing numbers go up and feeling like you made a tangible difference, so finding a sweet spot between "the economy is in your hands now, richest players, treat it wisely!" and "you have to sink millions and millions of shards into this donation bar before you'll ever see interest reach significant levels, what's the point" would be tough. SO UH, those are my concerns!! The idea of some kinda community fund is interesting, but it would need to be handled VERY carefully, and I also don't think it should be called "interest" in that model -- it'd be a counterintuitive name that seems VERY LIKELY to result in people assuming they know how it works and being surprised when their shards disappear.

WAIT. Are you a staff artist?
Yes, I am! I draw official art for Tattered World, though this doesn't give me any moderator powers or gameplay perks, and I don't get any secret knowledge about the plot or NPCs unless I need it in order to draw things!

Officially released stuff I've drawn so far:
    - Fray's NPC portraits
    - Muscled Leggings
    - All the Halloweave Hands items (Boo sketched most of these, I finished them!)
    - Half Wall (Boo sketched this)
    - Mara, Thelvoskye, and Dynrial's portraits from the Illuminary Gala Event!
    - Everything in the Cybernetics Badge Bundle except the wings!
    - All Golden Colosseum NPC portraits! (Chrysa, Pythia, Zephyr, Gallus, Valeria, Kosmas, Quintina)
    - The book series starting with I: The Golden Age
    - Hope Snarls: Time is Ticking, Supply Yourself, Look Out, Safe in Bed, Failing Marks, and Pursue Only Gems (Gwen sketched these, I finished them!)
