In real life, I'm a pretty introverted cartoonist working on my own projects in between playing games and reading comics and fantasy novels. Any socializing done is between me, my family, my cats, and an ornery bearded dragon.

Here on the site I'm trying to be...slightly less introverted through roleplaying as my Tattered!sona and her Kith allies. She's basically me: easily made anxious around people and situations she doesn't understand. But a goofy, smartass with an ocean's worth of salt when she's around people she's comfortable with. Or when she's angry. Usually when she's angry...

In the universe of Tattered World, she's a regular human woman living near Hope University. She makes a small living for herself and her allies and pets through odd jobs and organizing small art (and recently tailoring ) classes to children and creative beginners.

Since Specter's attack(?) on the Coral Reef, she has somehow become a magnet for actual ghosts and minor curses, much to her chagrin. On a lighter note, the incident encouraged her to start doing her own research on what exactly happened on the day of the Unmaking. Inspired by Marcus, she is putting together her own library of the history and myths of the known Remnants. She is aware that it isn't the first but she does hope her unusual situation can help spread the knowledge.

Wherever Saroko goes, she is never seen without a stuffed cat named Echoes. According to her, she is her oldest friend and a geologist/marine biologist. She keeps him around to fiddle with and will puppeteer him as a way to express herself. He is also popular with some of her younger students.
