Just wanted to say hello to everybody. Edit: Also Rose is a newer student then some of the others, so she doesn't really know anyone.

Jade gave a nod at Smokey as she hid the rest of the buck's body nearby. The snow, ice, and cold of night would keep the meat fresh enough to come back for the second helping the next day when the sun was out. "Time to go back to the pack." Jade traveled quickly only two wolves out at night was not safe because many predators also came out at night. She kept an eye on Smokey to make sure she was still with her. Once back with the pack, Jade took off the meat, and gestured towards anyone nearby. She knew word would travel and anyone who wanted a meal would come here. She could hear Alpine in the distance as well as a stranger's growls and scent. With darkness of the night soon to come now was not a great time to pick a fight.

Rose covered her ears at the sudden loud bangs and ringing. She muttered a quiet "ouch!" Then looked over at the person whom had spoken on the stage.

A few precise bites to the bucks neck was all that was needed to take him down permanently. Jade always thought she and Smokey made a good team when it came to hunting. "Good job. Lets take the meat home." Jade ripped off pieces of the buck to take back to the others. She knew not to drag the entire buck's body home because dragging the body would encourage other predators to follow them to their shelter. She instead put the pieces of meat over her body, the coat made of branches came in handy for keeping such things during travel. The sun was now beginning to go down.
