Hoof It Visibility

I have usually have okay vision, but its incredibly difficult to distinguish which button is highlighted in the game even in fullscreen and I was hoping that maybe the highlighting animation for the buttons could be more obvious and, if possible, for there to be a bit of a delay in the display of animation with the same button. (So say Blue > Green > Green happens, the delay between Green > Green could be longer than with Blue > Green). I think it'd be a good idea to make this game a bit more accessible, I guess?
