Re: Virtual Reality Gaming
I want to test it out before deciding if we should save up and get one. My husband has no issues with 3d and digital anything, but I can't even do the 3d on the ds for a few minutes without it hurting my head, and forget theaters. I have the right prescription for my glasses so there's not much to change there, I don't know if a headset would even fit over my glasses. Without them I can't see clearly at all. If I wasn't afraid of them messing up my eyes worse I'd have surgery on them and enjoy the free life! I really want to play though, there seems to be so many cool games! ...Then again I do also have motion sickness...

Re: Stardew Valley
It's still amazing to me to think about all the hard work Concerned Ape has put into the game! He listens so well to feedback too, I do worry he may be overworking a bit though heh. I would love to try my had at some mods, I used to do pixel art often but the time -flail- I'd like to make a few outfits for my farmer, maybe some dresses and accessory replacements, and some cute decor. I wish I could figure out how to add more without replacing though! I love plants and stuffed animals, so having a farmer with a ton of those and figurines would be amazing! I'd hate to have to pick a small hand full to keep though x.x

Re: Reading any books?
@Sefria Oh goodness the cliffhangers at chapter ends can be the worst! But I take too long to find where I left off if I don't stop at a chapter. Sometimes it ends up making me read several more and before I know it I get a few hours less sleep.. I need to get some of those sticky notes that have a horizontal strip, then I can save my place and point where I left off! @Orthan Really it is. Seems that's how a lot works out anymore. "Don't do this too good, someone may feel bad for not being able to do the same" kinda mentality. I mean, unless you're rubbing it in people's faces and being a jerk there shouldn't be an issue with excelling. You also end up with people shaming those that do need help, just a vicious circle of people stepping on toes while acting to walk on eggshells for others.

Re: Stardew Valley
The only issue I have with this game is the time going by too fast! I don't like using outside programs to mod games, so if I can't run it through steam and have a mod run I avoid it, so, I have to deal with doing things quickly. I've yet to make it past fall, I kept restarting or putting the game off, and now there's the update with new marriage opportunities! I may start a second save because I'm determined Vanilla will marry Penny.. The interest in the other maps fuels me, and...Emily, heh. I have a couple mods, a portrait and some mods to change the look of the cat/dog/horse to my liking, I try not to change too much. I do have a mod to prevent friendships from lowering too, as I cannot be bothered to find everyone every single day to make sure I chat. I try to remember all birthdays as best I can. I've made a couple upset with me by giving them a gift they didn't like before heh oops. Any game I can pause and hop into even with long spans of not playing is a win for me. Plus, I really like farming games like this.
