Its been a while since I really sat down and played it, but I married Arthur- not sure why, but I think it was because he always had a book and at the time I got the game I was really into books....kinda shallow thinking on it lol. He also wears glasses like I do and I always feel connections with characters stuck with terrible vision alongside me. Yea I wish I could have chosen from everyone- it worked out for me because I tend to play as a female character anyways and Arthur was who I wanted to marry, but obviously it won't work out that way for everone. Though Frey's character design always bothered me and I almost played as Lest, just something about it felt off? Maybe it was the hair. Region locks suck, I'd be able to handle the not understading everything through guides but if I can't play it there's no hope. One of things about the fourth one I dislike is how events are handled. Spending a year in game playing waiting for the marriage event to trigger killed me. The monster hunting is great, that's one of the things that made me like it- I don't really like pure farming games. In rf4 I actually tend to uh neglect my plants to put it lightly. Their lucky I remember to water them. I've never finsihed it unfortunatly, I need to really grind to be able to but I just don't have time, plus I have other games that hold my interest more now.
