[@Holtzmann] Conveniently enough, I saw a neurological doctor today for the first time and we went over my MRI. She said if she hadn't seen my date of birth on the MRI, she would have thought that the spine she was looking at was that of a 47 year old. ... DUDE, IF MY BODY IS DOING THIS AT 30, WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO US AT 40?! I am legit terrified. Yeah, my main problem is between my L3 and L4 - currently I have a herniated disc. My discs between my L5 and S1, and S1 and S2, have also dried out entirely and have degenerated, but I have no pain from that presently. I was given several options, but I'm going to try therapy again, because I really don't want to try the needle crap yet or the thing where they literally shave off parts of the nerve. *twitch* If I weren't currently on state insurance because I make minimum wage at my job (yay retail!), I wouldn't be able to pay for anything either, so I get that struggle. Thankfully I haven't had to pay a dime since this all started because of this. I might give yoga a try - I didn't think of that. I'm not THAT severe yet, but my doctors have all said I will need surgery in the future regardless. And yeah, we need a new mattress fkadjsfkjdsl. I do the same. I have a friend who has this and has had it since he was 11, and he's basically told me the same thing. Ughhhh.
