behind the name:

I named them yawn because I thought it was a kind of cute name and yawn rhymes with mawn as in mawnite, so I liked that word play. Plus the word yawn also means a gap or cavity which I thought was sort of fitting since mawnites skeletons crawl out of a hole in what appears to be a statue body or something. Also I thought the meaning of gap or cavity is at least adjacent to the tattered weave themed names I've been doing for my kith since the tatters are kind of holes in reality.
