Barite was a solitary kith Dread found early on after settling into Hope. He's snobbish, selfish, the very definition of a royal pain, which may be why he was abandoned in the first place. Still, Dread isn't one to turn an ally away, and Barite does have a soft spot for some of the smaller members of the army. Don't be surprised if you find a tiny gray blep nestled in his mane during an afternoon snooze-fest.
