cursed at the soot getting all over his nice suit. He had another notebook, one no one seemed to sing about, which recorded how many secret hiding spots he'd found in chimneys. A surprising number held little hollowed-out places where folk kept forgotten treasures, and he liked to sometimes leave a berry of mistletoe in such places to spread some mystery and magic.
