[color=red]New rules are highlighted in red.[/color] [b]Site Contest Rules:[/b] - Contest begins on Monday 12:00 PM Eastern and ends on Friday at 12:00 PM Eastern. [color=red]This is the same time period for users to browse and cheer entries.[/color] - Entry must be submitted by Forum post in the appropriate category. - Each user may submit up to 1 entry per category. [color=red]If you submit from an alternate account, please specify that in your entry somewhere, with a link to your main account.[/color] - Entry must be your own, not taken or copied from another person. - Entry must be in English. Typos and mistakes won’t disqualify you, just please don’t submit an entry in another language. - “Joke” entries are not allowed. Please feel free to use humor, so long as it’s not mockery or laziness! [color=red]- Entry must be "complete" when posted, meaning that you should not add to your entry after posting it initially. Minor edits, such as a typo or a small color correction are fine, but adding to the entry may disqualify your entry. You can feel free to submit an incomplete "piece" of an overall story, comic, etc. as that is not against the rules.[/color] - No “bump” posts (made solely to push your topic to the top of the page) or “quest” posts (made solely to fulfill an Hourly Quest) are allowed. - Please only Cheer once per person, not account. We may disqualify entries that use secondary accounts to Cheer themselves. - Entries will be judged by number of Cheers from users. In the event of a tie, moderators will Cheer for the tied entries. In the event of another tie, Steph, Myth, and Diana will Cheer for the tied entries. - Any failure to comply with these contest rules may result in disqualification. Failure to comply with the standard site rules will result in the appropriate warning, Forum muting, account lock, or ban. - Winners will receive the exclusive [i]In the Spotlight[/i] Achievement and may be included on our upcoming Spotlight feature for the logged out Homepage! Each category also has its own rules. Please take a look at the categories below to see which rules apply to your entry! [b]Avatar Contest Rules:[/b] Dress to impress in your most fashionable outfit! Show off your creativity by layering items in the Dressing Room in your own unique way. - You must wear your entry for the entire duration of the contest. - Include a screenshot of your Avatar in your entry. [b]Kith Contest Rules:[/b] We want to see your Kith! Did you create a clever concept based on their appearance? Or perhaps you selectively gave them items that reflected a theme? Choose a Kith to lavish with attention! - Include a link to your Kith’s profile page. - Supplementary material is allowed, including art and writing. - All entry material must be your own creation unless the original creator has given explicit permission for the material to be used in this contest, AND any material made by another person is clearly credited. [b]Craft Contest Rules:[/b] Our game is all about making things: friends, choices, delicious food… What have you made that’s inspired by Tattered Weave? - Include a picture of the real-world craft if at all possible. - Entries can include cooking, cosplay, decorating, performance videos, 3D art (like papercraft, plush, etc.) and more! Consult with a moderator or post in the main Site Contest Forum if you have any questions. [b]Game Contest Rules:[/b] How do you like the play in the Arcade? Screenshot your best high scores - or your funniest - and brag about it! Remember that winners are determined by Cheers, not by the numeric high score. - Include a screenshot of your score with a time & date on it. - The winner’s score will be verified before they win the contest. If the screenshot was edited to reflect a false score, the entry will be disqualified. [b]Art Contest Rules:[/b] We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for beautiful art! Display your masterpiece of Tattered Weave fan art here for all the Cheer you deserve! - Include a link to the full-size version of your art if necessary. - Feel free to include your watermark, signature, or other recognition. - Please indicate at the bottom of your entry whether or not you approve permission for us to share your entry via official Tattered Weave social media. If you have your own social media, you can provide a link for us to share so that you get the credit you deserve. You do not have to approve permission to enter the contest. This will not be taken into account when determining the winner. [b]Writing Contest Rules:[/b] Tattered Weave wouldn’t exist without lore! What do you have to say about our story? - Include an excerpt from your story that is about 100 characters long. This will be your leading quote shown in the Spotlight feature! - Entries can take any form of written story, as long as it relates to Tattered Weave. This includes stories, poetry, interpretations of existing lore, original theories, original characters, “news” articles, and more! - Please indicate at the bottom of your entry whether or not you approve permission for us to share your entry via official Tattered Weave social media. If you have your own social media, you can provide a link for us to share so that you get the credit you deserve. You do not have to approve permission to enter the contest. This will not be taken into account when determining the winner. [b]Gallery Contest Rules:[/b] Rare, creative, or downright silly collections are so much fun to share.
