How to make personality permanent?

My kith has had the Impulsive personality for a while now, and I know they get the heart next to it when it's permanent, but i want to know how long it will take for it to be permanent. It has not changed from impulsive except once, a while ago, and i have read the guide on what items give what personality.

It really depends! Personalities all have a hidden score, where items and quests will add points to personalities they are associated with. The first personality that reaches 100 points with that hidden score will be the one that locks in.
Usually I find my Kith tend to lock in around stage 3, but it really varies depending on what items I use. If you want to check what the hidden values are, you can use a personality test. I expect you are really close- if you stick a personality test on your wishlist I'll send one over so you can check!
