So, iirc, all games are theoretically balanced so you get roughly the same amount of shards per minute. I usually end up doing counting cards (not stressful to multitask shopping with) and trash catch (iirc fairly good for raising stats)

Other methods is assigning kith to pick up shards daily on the 'kith allies' page and questing (awards stats and shards and useful items). I remember early game questing being rough, but trust me, it gets better.

A good early game marketplace ring (if you're willing to invest) would probably be common low level tailoring materials! at higher levels, theres more materials and therefore harder to get some things. Mark it up as much as you want and someone will buy it.

My favourite game is Questioning Cosmos! The only catch is you need yo know the answers. There's a list of the answers on the forums somewhere. I know most of them off by heart now, hah.

Also, it's not technically a way to make shards, but put lots of stuff on your wishlist! That way you won't have to even spend the shards on the first place, heh. You can even get kitchen tools etc that way.

My personal favorite game is Counting Cards. It can yield a fairly high amount of shards, however you need to think a little bit in order to make sure you don't run out of cards.
