Unmaking Black Dye?

So, I'm in the (very long) process of unmaking 10 000 items for the achievement, and I've come across something, strange, maybe? Nothing I unmake gives black dye, even items I know use black dye to craft. Is this intentional? Is there something in the unmaking process that prevents black dye from being collected?
I haven't come across this for any other dye, or material. It's just black dye that isn't an option. And I know that you don't always get everything back when you unmake something, but black dye isn't even listed as a material you can get.
Has anyone else come across this? Does anyone know why?

Maybe it's just some kind of glitch? Or it just escaped the programmer when they were coding the unmaking feature?

Unmaking clothes never returns any of the dyes used, so I assume the system doesn't account for dye used as materials and not dyes.
(That being said, a lot of clothing that used to use dyes as a base material had those materials adjusted, in order to fix another dye-related bug in Tailoring. It's probably that the clothing doesn't actually use dye for crafting any more, and so won't return any of that.)

Unmaking does drop dye- I just unmade a black hide top and received 1 leather and 1 black dye.
Are the clothes you are trying to unmake ones that use multiple dye? I believe that those that use multiple dye only will give back one dye- this is a guess, but I'm wondering if it just pulls whatever dye is listed or uploaded first, and black dye is just later and so tends to get left out for unmaking. The black hide top only required one dye, so that's why I got one black dye back.

It must be that, then. I was checking on clothes that used multiple dye without thinking about dye order, and now that I'm looking you're right, there's a few that do give black dye.
I guess I've just had back luck with getting black dye high enough in the order. Thanks for the help everyone!
