Alpine's ghost flew over his head. "Snow, do you know where that bone is?" His voice was frustrated yet calm. The usual black part of his eye was now red.

Aspen smiled. "Would you like a new one? There's a small graveyard ahead! I can tie on some feathers, if you like!"

Snow shook his head, but his face was fearful and he looked like he was uncertain...


Willow started snarling and growling then finally said {With plenty of growling between each word} "Any old bone won't work! I need MY Bone!!"

"Um." Aspen replied. "What's so special about YOUR bone?"

"It's a ghost's complete passing." Alpine started. The ghost from behind him went towards Willow. It gave a caring yet sad look, then disappeared.

Aspen looked confused. "What's a complete passing?"

"Death." he said looking down at Snow. "All a ghost wants is to not be wandering this world for all eternity. You, though." he said looking up at Willow. "You're not a full ghost. Is your goal the same?"

"Oh," Aspen said. That was it. That's all.

Willow shifted uncomfortably in place then said slowly, trying to hold her temper "Its similar, but not the same... The simplest way to put it is this: Half of me is dead. Literally one half of me is dead. I need that bone to make my dead half be at peace.

If it's not at peace then I will eternally be..." Willow looked embarrassed before finishing "If I don't get my bone... One half of me will be eternally alive and will always... Always... And will always try to steal other Wolves souls until it gets MY bone... And that doesn't ever end well, if you get what I mean..."


Snow licked the side of his leg and carefully rubbed it over the minor wound under his eye.

Alpine nodded, "Snow. Do you have any idea where that bone is?"
