Specks and Trace lifted their heads, almost at the same time. They looked a bit hazy. When they saw Willow they smiled. "Mom! Who are they?" They looked over at Smokey and the others.

Willow grinned "Those are members of the Pack. That Black & Purple wolf with spots is Smokey, the Alpha female, and that white wolf is Snow, former Healer... Probably the Alpha male now..."

The two gazed up at Smokey with wide eyes, almost immediately racing towards her. They shifted into each other, constantly shifting as they stood in their playful position.

As the two left his side, Alpine lifted his head. He stood up, stretching a bit. "Hello Willow." he smiled.

Willow smiled back warmly at Alpine and nodded her acknowledgement, "The pups stay out of trouble while I was gone?"

He smiled. "Seemed like they needed a nap. They fell asleep really quickly."

Willows tail wagged slightly, then whispered "Do you think Snow & Smokey finally became Mates? Where I was raised, when two wolves howled together they were showing that they were a couple..."

"Not sure." he looked up at Smokey waiting to see that they'd say.

"How adorable" Smokey said with a chuckle and looked up from the pups to everyone else "Me and Snow have an announcement.." she looked at Snow and back at everyone "We're now mates."

Willow grinned, then whispered to Alpine "My guess was accurate!" then she went over to Snow and Smokey "Congrats you two!! I wish y'all a long and fruitful life and a pleasant relationship!"


Snow grinned at Smokey then turned to Willow and said, "Thanks!"


Flame stood unsurely to the side, this wasn't his Pack and he felt like he was intruding...

Smokey smiled "Thanks Willow" she looked at Flame "Flame, you seem a bit..spacey..what's wrong?"
