Mercury's flames darken and brighten in turn. She gives a small squeaking noise.

Stella looks at Leon "Oh no.." she puts her hand over his and a red glow emanates from it, healing the burn. "I could've healed my cut but y'know." she shrugs her shoulders. She looks at Mercury "Why is she making that noise?? Is she touching something that melts?"

Irma shrugs to herself, "May death be a release." She flings herself on Mercury and starts smacking the flames out. "GET AHOLD OF YERSELF!" She shouts at Mercury.

Stella yelps "What the hell are they doing?!" she covers her mouth with her hands.

Mercury gasps and her eyes turn to literal actual flames. It's obvious that she has no control over her power as the flames dim and shrink a little bit.

Leon's eye twitches as he watches Irma throw herself at the flaming Mercury. "You know what Stella, I have no idea, but she is clearly mad."

Quill appears in front of Mercury. Her gaze softens. She puts her hand on Mercury's shoulder. "Now's not the time. Save your rage for the fight." She said quietly so only Mercury could hear.

Mercury takes a deep breath and the flames start to dissipate. couple minutes later everything is put out. She mumbles something.

"Thank you." she appears back with the group. Turing to Irma she says, "Welcome to the team. Just watch this one," she says gesturing to the bird. "We don't need everyone here to dislike us because of bird attacks." She sat back in her seat.

EK got up and approached Mercury. "So, are we ready?" he gestured to the large (ish) group behind them.
