They looked up at the woman, seeing the half-blood wince as she brushed past his wings. Kamau stood shakily, gulping. "Because-Because that's what he's d-done for the past 14 years! I haven't been outside of the manor [i]grounds,[/i] let alone the city. If I get caught, I probably wont even be allowed from my room." They took a deep breath, standing straighter. "I will not let that happen. I hate my father, and I hate this city. Even [i]half-bloods[/i] are better than that." They spat the words, glaring at the half-dragon across the room .

Rhys scowled at the kid. "I understand, but-" she started. No, she didn't understand, this was no time to be dishonest. "You can come home with us." she said looking at the ground. "I'll make sure your dad doesn't find you, and you can, I guess, come and go as you please." she said to them.

"Can I come?" Star appeared out of nowhere. "I HATE the arena cages... unless they're fights scheduled!"

Rhys jumped back. "Geese! I thought I told you to go back to the arena!" Her heart was racing. 'I can't just let an arena champion into my house. What would my sister say? This is becoming such a wreck!' Rhys face palmed. "Star. I don't want to get in trouble for having an arena half-blood in my house." she said to Star.

"Oh, yeah, you totally did tell me to stay in the arena! I just didn't listen!" Star winked. "And WAIT, you have a sister!?"

"Ugh! Yes. Yes, I do." she sighed. "Why didn't you listen again?" she said fatigued.

Tari wasn't surprised when Star appeared. He had heard her approach. He took Kamau's hand, pulling them to stand beside him. He growled deep in his chest, slightly widening his wings in a painful-yet-threatening stance. His eyes glowed in the half-light, golden and angry.

A small fox appeared to the right of the group looking at them then went off to the wall, away from the others, and shifted to its original form and waved hello at them before speaking "I mean no harm just please..don't hurt me" looking down at the dagger.

There was a loud crash outside. Dust poured in from cracks and crevices. Coughing can be heard, as a dragon stumbles inside. Lexi had just crash-landed. She wobbled to a nearby building. Sniffing around she slowly stumbled inside and to the closest corner.

Tari jumped as the fox materialized, and jumped again as it change forms. "Is EVERYONE just going to waltz in here like they own the place?!" Their voice cracked at the end, exasperated. Their wings dripped on the small, ragged rug, staining it red. "Who knew there were so many half-bloods that live in this city."
