Shimmerpaw seemed glum. "So, I couldn't have stopped it." she shook her head. "Then it wasn't your fault. When prophecies are told they can't be broken. A fate is sealed after it's told. I heard that from a friend once."

"Who?" Thrushmoon looked curious.

"He was another kittypet. At least, I think he was. He called himself Char. Said it meant something like charming and free. I could never quite tell if he was a kittypet. Either way, he's an old friend." Shimmerpaw said looking towards the sky.

"Come on, Shimmerpaw. And you, Thrushmoon. If you keep this up I'm going to call you Alicia and Thrushkit." Sunspots picked up his pace and so did Thrushmoon.

Shimmerpaw growled at the name. "Alright." She kept up with Sunspots.

After some walking, Sunspots announced, "We're here. Shimmerpaw. You first."

Shimmerpaw looked around a bit. "Ok."

Thrushmoon followed her. "I'll come too."

Shimmerpaw looked over the pool. She was hesitant to dip her nose in. 'Maybe I'll see Foxkit. I could apologize. I don't know if he'll forgive me though.' she was still very hesitant.

Thrushmoon looked at the pool and lapped at the water very carefully.
