"Burning, huh..." She mumbles and stands up, pulling out a small notebook and flipping through it. Inside is pictures and preserved samples of exotic looking plants and mushrooms, plus many notes written in another language. "Ah!" She finds a certain page and shows it to Static.
"Have you seen one of these plants? The juice from it can soothe burning.." The picture is of a plant that looks very.... Alien. It has spikes coming off of it, plus fuzz all over the skin. The plant it comes off looks like a cross between a mushroom and an oak tree.
She thinks for another second while the salamander answers. "Would you be able to walk while in so much pain? I can carry you if not...." And then she notices Ada’s speech issues. "Are you alright?"
Gosh. Everyone’s feeling unwell it seems!

He squinted at the notebook. "Yeah I, think so? Wait... yeah I think I--" he hissed and coughed violently again, glitch energy pulsing off of him with each one. He glanced at Turing, hoping this all isn't affecting him too bad. "I, I think I saw some back there hold on."
He darted back into the underbrush and disappeared.
Once he was out of sight he stopped and took a shuddery breath. The gas mask helped a lot but... he looked at his palms. Raw and teal from running across poisoned ground and foliage. He hissed again as a particularly strong throb of pain sent another dizzying wave of that primal rage through his head. He needed out of here. He won't be able to hold back glitch mode forever. He wants to run before that happens, but he's been running for an hour already. How much longer would it take? He had to take his chances.
There was one of those plants nearby. He slunk over to it, hoped that the fuzz wasn't poisonous, and carefully pulled it out of the ground, taking care to preserve its roots in case those were also medicinally important.

Lucienne flipped through a notebook as she considered Static's symptoms, and Ada chanced a step closer to peer over her shoulder, relegating their conversation to the background as they discussed some sort of plant. Other than dried leaves and flowers pressed between the pages, the majority of the book's contents were some kind of drawings, with enough organic shapes that they were difficult to identify with confidence -- and a few notes alongside them. Not a script she recognised, she determined after analysing a few lines to try to account for sloppy handwriting and visuals that kept fuzzing erratically. Interesting! Then it was likely Lucienne was being translated as well...
"Are you alright?" The human in question glanced up, turning her attention back to Ada.
"I-I-I'll be fine, da-a4////ºr--∂®]]-]]||)∂|]l-∂∂∂∂∂" the synthesised voice skipped a few more times before she took a surprised step back, gloved hand pressed over her lips. Lucienne briefly rearranged herself to match the texture of the surrounding forest and then to be composed of several birds before resettling. Ada's eyes darted, looking for the gas mask that would indicate Static's location, but once the interference had calmed down, she couldn't find it.
"...Soºrry..... de''∂r...!" she continued, cautiously at first, until she was sure her voice was coming through. "Static's magic someti|||mes creates interƒerençe, which results in some aªudio glitches. When it's stronger, it can cause pro2b-¶roblems, but the stutter by itself isn't harmful." Her smile was a little apologetic and embarrassed, though most of her focus internally was on a lot of priority calculations. Static's magic might become dangerous, but Static himself had always been eager to help...
".....I... also c48π't see him. Is he still here?"

"Yeah I, think so? Wait... yeah I think I-- ... I, I think I saw some back there hold on."
Well that's a relief! No need to go searching for some then. She gets her knife out and wraps the butt of it in a small layer of gauze-like fibers to use to smash up the insides of it, since she doesn't have a proper setup here.
Then, Ada responds to her inquiry on her health with not really great-sounding reassurance.
"I-I-I'll be fine, da-a4////ºr--∂®]]-]]||)∂|]l-∂∂∂∂∂"
Lucienne fluffs up again at that and flinches, ears pinning to her head. The sound of the auditory... Thing... Felt pretty abrasive to her ears. Ada seemed pretty embarrassed about it.

"Um..." She looks up. Static re-emerges. "He's right there?" She motions to him then looks at Ada with momentary confusion, before turning all her attention back to making sure Static gets the treatment he needs above anything else. Ada surely won't die from some kind of cursed-sounding stutter. Hopefully.
"Oh, you got the whole thing!" Lucienne giggles for a quick moment, before quietly thanking him and taking only the fruit off, gently handling it so as to not stab herself with the daunting looking spikes on it. She first uses her knife to cut off said spikes, then knocks on the fruit. Seeing as the outside sounds to be pretty hard, she sets the fruit against a rock and pulls up her hoof, kicking and crushing it at the same time and electing a decent cracking noise on her first try.
Next comes the weird part. The inside of the fruit looks almost like egg whites with small fuzzy soft seeds in it. Using the hard husk of the fruit as a mortar, she uses the butt of her knife to do her best to grind the seeds into the weird jelly-like insides, turning them a completely and totally inviting jelly-consistency slightly translucent blueish white.
"Ok, it might sting a ttiiinnnnyyy bit more at first... But it'll help after that." Her face cutely contorts with the statement. Lucienne takes off her glove to very softly put the stuff on Static, and stops short for a second with a little sound of worry mid-way through. "Goodness gracious, look at all the injuries on you!!" She sighs and flicks her ears, then more quickly finishes putting the stuff on the places she assumes the salamander cannot reach before handing him the fruit.
"Finish putting that on." She commands with all the sternness of a worried mother.
Out comes the gauze fibers again, and onto some of the more harshly afflicted places they go. "I don't know how my medicines might react with an amphibian and since you're so injured here, I won't risk trying them. I'm gonna cover up your paws and worst injuries so you don't get hurt any more on them."
There's a pause as she prepares the stuff to put on him.
"And I am not going to let you walk in this condition." She huffs, tail swishing.

Static glances apologetically at Turing as he returns, having overheard his glitchy vocal hiccups, but before he could remember that Turing can in fact not see him and therefore might just see his gas mask tip in his direction but not the actual expression underneath it, the winged person took the plant from his hands and started working on it. He watched with interest, and slight disgust, as she cracked one of its hard fruits like a coconut-egg and started mushing up its gross jelly insides.
"Ok, it might sting a ttiiinnnnyyy bit more at first... But it'll help after that... Goodness gracious, look at all the injuries on you!!"
"Oh" he said blankly as he examined himself. Yeah he did have a fair amount of scratches and more raw teal patches on his arms. And legs. And sides. He opened his mouth to respond, but instead hissed as she started lathering the slimy juice stuff on him, which did indeed sting. There's another small pulse of glitchiness, but it's a bit weaker than before.
"Finish putting that on." She shoves the half a fruit at him. He automatically accepts, the parental tone bringing out a surprised but instinctive submissiveness as she continued to fuss, talking about how her medicines might not interact with him right and bandaging up his hands (which she called paws, which was pretty cute)
"And I am not going to let you walk in this condition."
"N- now hey, I'm, I'm really okay--" he tried to protest, slightly embarrassed by the idea of having to be carried. "I-- I've been hurt worse, believe me, this is fine, you don't have too--" He wanted to stand up to prove it, but that didn't go great last time, and also hes in the middle of being bandaged up by a horse bird person apparently fueled by motherly worry, which he's heard is a very powerful force and not to be messed with.

As if in response, the plants rustled, pushed aside by footsteps she couldn't see, gas mask and something spiked and organic floating into view at a level that would imply Static was... crawling?
"He's right there?" Lucienne confirmed, with confusion in her voice. She didn't spare much thought to untangling this before turning her attention back to Static, splitting open the plant with her foot (???) and making it into something that seemed medicinal, applying the resulting substance to Static's skin and explaining her thought process.
Ada watched without interest, fingers tapping a rapid series of patterns against the side of the portal device, filing the information as a matter of routine. She didn't recognise the fruit or have any knowledge of this procedure, but she didn't exactly have a robust catalogue of medicinal plants to start with. Once Lucienne started applying whatever she'd made to Static's injuries, however, the interference started up again; Ada stepped away, walking with an obvious limp as she moved a little further down the path, just checking for anything of interest.
"Static's ma-m;∂gic interference masks him from my cameras. That makes him iπvi6sible to me!" She glanced back, looking over Lucienne's work so far. "Well, the ban-ß^n]]ndaging does help. I can see that!" Belatedly, and with the tone of a cheerful waitress who hopes you'll enjoy your meal, she added, "I hope you'r*e f∑éºling better soon!"
Her expression dropped to a small, concerned frown, though, as the two debated whether or not Static would be good to walk with his current injuries. "Darling... ca%n we afford to wait? I really only have a cºoµ¶pl||e of h4ours on this battery..."

"N- now hey, I'm, I'm really okay-- I-- I've been hurt worse, believe me, this is fine, you don't have too--"
Static tried to protest the idea of Lucienne carrying him, and as he did, her arms find their way into crossing themselves in a very maternal fashion. Her ear flicks and she glances back at Ada again as she speaks up in the weird machine-stutter ridden voice.
"Static's ma-m;∂gic interference masks him from my cameras. That makes him iπvi6sible to me! Well, the ban-ß^n]]ndaging does help. I can see that!"
Oh. That's weird. And kinda stupid. Why would someone not account for magic, unless Static has some kind of weird special magic? She doesn't know, and it isn't at the top of her priorities right now.
"Darling... ca%n we afford to wait? I really only have a cºoµ¶pl||e of h4ours on this battery..."
After adding that, Lucienne stands up with a puffy huff. "Well that settles it! C'mon, I can carry you. You can put your back paws in the palm of my wings and hold on to my shoulders so you don't fall off. That way I have my arms free so I can navigate. I won't have you walking around hurting yourself more for any reason."
She opens her wings in what looks like an uncomfortable fashion (it isn't) and waits for Static to climb aboard.

Static looked on in exasperation as she declared the matter settled and talked him though how exactly she’s going to carry him, complete with waiting for him to climb on. He glanced helplessly between her and Turing, before letting out a small sigh and climbing into her back as instructed. His hands and feet were indeed tender, especially after the stinging medicine, and he held back a hiss as he got settled, but once he did so he found that soft feather and muscle was indeed much better on his wounds.

The translucent image of Static's body faded as the medicine assumedly soaked into his skin; he was shaped more or less as Ada had predicted from what she'd seen of his shadow.... and apparently not wearing clothes? Which was interesting, since no one else in this universe had made note of it.
"Well that settles it! C'mon, I can carry you."
"Oh! That's ªa wonderful idºea," Ada added cheerfully, as Lucienne explained the logistics of carrying the other without hampering her own mobility -- unfortunately, not an option the robot could learn or implement without the requisite limbs. Static looked between the two of them, without a word, and then mask and bandages made movements she could much more easily extrapolate, visual systems predicting much of the rest of his body as he climbed onto Lucienne's shoulders.
"Though, if we don't find our destination in that time, Sta-S||∆ti««c, dear, could you let one of the o¬‘thers know where I am?" She said it casually, a request to pass on a memo that was really more of an instruction, but her expression was a little too pleading to look properly confident. It was not a good back-up plan... this was not the sort of place humans recover robots from.
She waited, antsy, for the human to get a hold on her new cargo, then immediately started forward again in the general direction they'd been going, as if she assumed the others would fall in step and catch up, alert and careful despite her uneven gait.
"Where are we headed, exac-a%\¢tly, darling?" she asked curiously, glancing back at Lucienne. "And what are we looking for?"

Static climbs up, and weighs less than Lucienne thought he would. That's something to think about later. She makes sure very tenderly that he's secure, using her wing fingers to gently support and grab his feet, then stands up fully. After a short moment, she has a hang of balancing with a very long salamander upon her back like a slimy backpack.
"Though, if we don't find our destination in that time, Sta-S||∆ti««c, dear, could you let one of the o¬‘thers know where I am?"
Lucienne's ears flip down. She doesn't like the idea of leaving Ada behind. Even in this world amalgam place, she has no idea if there's some kind of manifestation of the same salvagers she sometimes has seen in the Toxic Forest. They'd make real short work of Ada if she was defenseless, if they are here.
Ada starts walking and Luci chirps, surprised, and hurries to follow.
"Where are we headed, exac-a%\¢tly, darling? And what are we looking for?"
"Um, well... If your... Energy storage thingy won't last long enough," She steps more carefully, unable to take as adventurous of steps with Static on her back, "Which I assume it won't, if it'll only last about two more hours... There is someplace within an hour we can head to from here I think, but... It's a bit risky... Kind've falling apart and all."
...
"How much do you weigh, Miss Ada?" She asks, with all the innocence and nonchalance of a young child.
