I just checked and the new accounts are working just fine, so my guess is that it was an issue with the pose & skin tone not being selected, since clothing items only appear on the avatar once those are selected. I do know this has been a problem for a while, where newbies don't realize they need a pose & skin tone before they can wear the clothes, so I will ponder possible solutions. I wanted to avoid a default selection, but it might be easier on newbies to have a default set that they can change after putting clothes on. Sorry for any confusion!

I guess it might have been a caching issue, where the browser hadn't yet loaded the assets, so leaving to another page and coming back might have allowed it to load correctly the second time? Technology is a mystery sometimes

[url=/users/profile/Diana][@Diana][/url] Looks like there might be a bit of an issue with the avatar creation when creating an account, because the account isn't yet logged in, maybe? I know that was an issue with avatar loading too, but this is what I'm getting when I load up the avatar creation part of the sign up process: [img]https://i.imgur.com/zPHqaTm.png[/img] The avatar items are still technically there, but the images don't load at all. Clicking one of them adds the item properly, but the thumbnail is broken. [img]https://i.imgur.com/Ap3jItS.png[/img] I opened console for that broken thumbnail on the right, and inspect element says this: [img]https://i.imgur.com/E7B5khq.png[/img] So it doesn't seem to just be an issue with my internet loading the thumbnail, but with the site getting the thumbnail image for logged out users? This might be the issue people are having? And then after skipping past this and joining properly, users are later able to make an avatar properly because they're logged in. (This might explain the Kith thing, since users would also get a Kith very soon after making their account, so it might seem like the Kith fixed things?) I'm gonna move this thread over to Tech Support I think, since it does seem like it's maybe a bug. (Or at least, the thing I found probably is one!)
