Looks like we've been called upon to help find our missing friends – but the Coral Reef has historically held some environmental hazards, so let's be sure to dress for the occasion!
I'll start by exploring the ocean floor in my Exalted Shimmerfin attire!

That looks pretty! As for mine, it will be this~ Not only I can investigate in the land but also dive in with the help of the merfolk gills spell(?) so I could breathe underwater~
One could say it's a multipurpose attire that works on both land and water~ (Originally thought that the tail could also merge with my legs and becomes a merfolk tail xD Tbh, that would look really cool~)

Looks like great minds think alike. I've forgone my usual Orca-merbody for something able to work on land and sea...

I'm gonna follow my inquisitive nose to search for the most pungent clues! Er... make that, I'm checking to see what passes the sniff test.
...
I'll just show myself out.

Magic body paint to breathe underwater? Check.
Courtier jewellery to open magical communication lines in case something happens? Check.
Healing amulet charged for immediate action? Check.
Land and sea mobility? Check.

tw!eon's shapeshifting worked in her favor this time, so now she's ready to go save some seafolk :D (with the help of her Amourtis, Siren, of course!)

I mean, when investigating mysteries and searching for hidden libraries, you're always going to need some magic, am I right? Magic to protect yourself and friends, as well as make one able to get underwater. And in case magic won't be effective, at least I've remembered to bringing along a sword too!

Hopefully the tail can compensate for the difficulties the coat is going to be in the water, but at some point fashion comes before function.

I... can not go into the water, will get too cold, not good for wings. But I want to help, so I will search through skies! With help from wings, I can travel for long time without interruption since sky is clear, good for view of ships or under water things!

I hear magpie are good for finding shinies, and I want gifts to give to children for when I return, so I will be collecting shinies while I search.

When searching for clues under the waves, I've taken the form of a merperson to swim more effectively, while protecting myself with reef armor and Shimmerfin magic.

If the investigation returns to the surface, I take along my bubble bauble and outfit myself with my trusty captain's sword and caster tank. My new seagull friend said they would keep an eye out for anything helpful, but frankly they seem more interested in the new food I've found while on the case.

It's ok to ask for help when you're doing a search and rescue!

OK this is great, guys, but we're looking for our friends! What? "The real friends was the treasure we made along the way?" THAT'S NOT EVEN REMOTELY CORRECT!

Considering how things have gotten a lot worse with people disappearing...
I'm now making a Splash into the Deep End.

I'll have a lot of maneuverability to search while teaming up with Subject Delta at least- (though he had been helping Shay, Wonder what happened there...)
AND I have a Sword just in case I might... need to teach whatever is taking our friends a lesson...
